With the help of their amazing <\/span>vendor team<\/span><\/a>, the pair pulled off a timeless yet unconventional celebration with their <\/span>closest and dearest loved ones<\/span><\/a>. <\/span><\/p>\n

With a <\/span>geometric arch<\/span><\/a> perfectly framing the majestic mountains in the background, the pair said their sweetest “I dos.” The <\/span>reception<\/span><\/a> on-site featured a charming <\/span>al fresco dining setting<\/span><\/a> under the stars and <\/span>string lights<\/span><\/a> complete with a <\/span>cozy lounge<\/span><\/a> and a chic vintage camper. It was a romantic, intimate Arizona desert wedding with one heck of a view!<\/span><\/p>\n

It was important for us to find a <\/span>wedding officiant<\/span><\/a> who could speak to our Christian faith while recognizing that the wedding could feel untraditional for a <\/span>same-sex couple<\/span><\/a>. Although many trailblazers came before us doing the same, it felt like a first for many of the guests.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

We leaned heavily into storytelling during the <\/span>ceremony<\/span><\/a>. Our officiant was incredible–one of the most talented speakers I know. He did an excellent job telling our story from start to finish by highlighting key dates, favorite bible verses, jokes, and, most importantly, our faith.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n
