Due to the <\/span>pandemic<\/span><\/a>, the pair had to push their wedding date a year. But, with the help of their planner <\/span>Anthology Studios<\/span><\/a>, they pulled off a whimsical disco party with their <\/span>closest loved ones<\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Using eye-catching <\/span>arrangements<\/span><\/a> by <\/span>Desert Rose Florals<\/span><\/a> to frame the Pacific Ocean and the Santa Barbara coastline, the <\/span>dashing grooms<\/span><\/a> exchanged heartfelt <\/span>vows<\/span><\/a> in a breathtaking clifftop <\/span>ceremony<\/span><\/a>. After tying the knot, their dazzling greenhouse <\/span>reception<\/span><\/a> featured a <\/span>floating installation<\/span><\/a> of mixed dried foliage, fresh blooms, and glittery disco balls. <\/span><\/p>\n

Why They Chose To Have An Orchid Farm Wedding<\/span><\/h2>\n
We saw our <\/span>venue<\/span><\/a> on a few wedding blogs in late 2018. After some digging, we found the name and contact on <\/span>Yelp<\/span><\/a> and set up a walkthrough. We visited and instantly fell in love. The California coastline ceremony site and greenhouses for cocktails and reception were everything we were looking for. We knew we wanted to get married in the Santa Barbara area, so we researched other venues but always came back to <\/span>Dos Pueblos Orchid Farm<\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

Personalizing Their Ceremony By Writing Their Own Vows And Including Their Loved Ones<\/span><\/h2>\n
At the beginning of the <\/span>ceremony<\/span><\/a>, we had our wedding bands passed throughout our guests for them to impart good vibes and best wishes before our vows and placement of the rings. Our dog was our flower girl, too! She loved greeting the guests and being the center of attention. I also loved our <\/span>vows<\/span><\/a>. We wrote them separately, but the similarities showed just how aligned our brains are. We laughed and cried and it was such a loving moment.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

How The Couple Added All Of The DIY Touches To Their Orchid Farm Wedding<\/span><\/h2>\n
We didn’t go into <\/span>wedding planning<\/span><\/a> thinking we would <\/span>DIY<\/span><\/a> as much as we did, but we had such a <\/span>specific vision<\/span><\/a> that it was easier for us to create these goods rather than compromise the look we were going for. When we didn’t see premade elements online, we took it into our own hands and made them ourselves. Thanks to Photoshop and a <\/span>Cricut<\/span><\/a>, we made all the paper goods and <\/span>signs<\/span><\/a>. We also designed and made our escort card installation, hand-sewed table overlays, made bracelets for our wedding party, and constructed custom signage stands.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n
