During our <\/span>elopement<\/span><\/a>, we went to places that really had meaning for us in our lives–places we used to go when we were kids. Even though we didn’t have a traditional wedding, we wanted to create something that had a <\/span>link with our roots<\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

The <\/span>ceremony<\/span><\/a> was such a quiet yet intense moment. We both decided to <\/span>write down<\/span><\/a> things we had never shared before with each other, and it was so moving. We really wanted no stress in the making of it, and we also wanted to be very personal and private, so we went for a very simple ceremony with just the two of us.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

Following our photographers in an amazing field of olive trees was amazing. They found one that literally looked like a nest. It was like that tree was embracing us–and looking back at that shot–it really seemed like we were one with nature. Another special moment was when we went to <\/span>Polignano a Mare<\/span><\/a>. Suddenly, it was like a storm was about to arrive, and it all felt so unreal and so thrilling at the same time. <\/span><\/em><\/p>\n
