There are some things that are completely out of your control and you must remember that this day is about the two of you and your love. The most important thing, over every other detail, is love. We’re so proud that after everything, we actually got married. We decided to take control and not be defeated.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

We gave each other special gifts. James got a watch and I received aquamarine earrings. Both of these were worn on our wedding day. Another special moment was when I spoke to my mum and James’ mum on a video call after getting ready so they could both send their best wishes.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n
