It can be hard to <a href=\"https:\/\/junebugweddings.com\/wedding-blog\/5-wedding-traditions-you-might-want-to-rethink-what-to-do-instead\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">walk away from wedding traditions<\/span><\/a> and expectations. Fortunately, we had support from our family to do an elopement-style wedding. We <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/junebugweddings.com\/wedding-blog\/10-unique-tips-for-writing-your-wedding-vows\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">wrote our own vows<\/span><\/a> the day before, put together a few words for our friend and photographer to recite about the meaning of partnership to read before we said our vows, and we planned everything ourselves.
