Liv and John totally embraced the lucky rain shower that happened during their wedding ceremony at The Barns at Hamilton Station Vineyards<\/a>! We’re in love with every little detail that made this Northern Virginia winery wedding a little piece of perfection. If rustic and blush makes your heart skip a beat, we can’t wait for you to see the decor Vows and Vines Events<\/a> put together, including a few modern touches, like copper piping for the seating chart. I (Liv<\/span>) have a pretty sensible fashion sense and wanted something classic, but simple! My dress matched perfectly with the venue and decor. It had a classic bohemian feel to it and I felt like myself in it . Same for my makeup and hairstyle. I told my stylists that I wanted to still look like me on a regular day, but subtlety elevated. It worked out well since it ended up raining on us! I didn’t have all my makeup dripping down my face All John<\/span> wanted was to wear a navy blue tux. Simple enough!<\/em><\/p>\n

I wanted to get married at a vineyard so we decided to tour a few of them and as soon as John<\/span> and I walked into The Barns at Hamilton Station<\/a>, we absolutely knew that it was the place for us. Susan, the manager, was so warm and inviting, just like the venue. It had the exact vibe we wanted! Casual, cool, and a place someone could just have fun at!<\/em><\/p>\n

Raindrops started to fall as our bridal party started walking down the aisle; thunder even cracked as John<\/span> walked down the aisle. As the rain continued to pour on us, we just continued to look each other in the eyes and John<\/span> kept saying everything was going to be ok! I would look out at our guests and I was so surprised that they were all sticking with us and having a great time getting soaked!<\/em><\/p>\n

Our venue was this rustic vineyard that helped with creating the rest of the design and atmosphere we wanted. Additionally, we added a few modern pieces like marble table numbers and copper signage, but we kept true to the feel of the venue.<\/em><\/p>\n
