It’s almost that time of year again when the crisp air refreshes our spirits and autumn wedding colors are in full bloom! And, lucky for us, we’ve got a taste of that autumnal goodness with Chelsae and Ryan’s at-home wedding in Nashville! This creative couple wanted nothing more than to create a cozy atmosphere with a distinctly elegant look and, most importantly, filled with wildly romantic florals. With the help W Social Events<\/a> and their floral designer from Basil & Bergamot<\/a>, they got just that! The backyard ceremony and tented reception were as intimate as could be, and the dramatic lighting, floral installations, and ceremony arch were a chic sight to behold. Our hats off to Rachel Fugate Photography<\/a> who managed to capture the indescribably magical feeling of Chelsae and Ryan’s special day!<\/p>\n

We chose my (the bride’s) parents’ home for our venue. For as long as I can remember, I’ve imagined myself walking out the front door in my dress and down the stairs to the alter. My parents live on a significant plot of land, so we had plenty of room to plan the day exactly how we wanted. The first year that Ryan<\/span> saw the house in the middle of fall, he was convinced it was the perfect venue as well.<\/em><\/p>\n

The florals and the photography\/videography were most important to us from the start of our wedding planning. We wanted to have timeless images that genuinely depicted our relationship and our day that we could cherish forever! The flowers were also important to us because, as the bride, I felt as though the arrangements would give our venue the romantic, woodsy style that I was looking for. Our photographer and videographer were the first vendors we chose when we got engaged, and our florals took up the biggest portion of our budget by far!<\/em><\/p>\n

The most special parts of the day were the few moments we had alone with Rachel (our photographer) during our solo shoot. We were so giddy and excited from the ceremony that we were able to let loose and feel completely comfortable in front of the camera, and the pictures show it! It was the best feeling being finally married and having the rest of the night to look forward to as husband and wife.<\/em><\/p>\n

I would advise every bride not to get caught up in the little details. Of course, we want our day to be perfect and exactly as we’ve imagined. However, I let myself get so stressed over small pieces that didn’t come together during the planning, and when the day actually came, I never even noticed them. What mattered the most to us was that we had our loved ones close and that everyone had as good a time as we did. All the other details fell into place!<\/em><\/p>\n
