Catherine and Marc’s gorgeous Pennsylvania wedding at Fairmount Park Horticulture Center<\/a> was as romantic as it was heartfelt! Natalie Diener Weddings<\/a> helped the couple create an ethereal wedding day that was full of lush florals from Robertson’s Floral Design<\/a>, moody colors, and personal touches. The greenhouse venue itself was the perfect setting for a naturally beautiful day, even without the impeccably designed ceremony and reception areas. We love that the bride opted for a non-traditional champagne gown from Lee Petra Grebenau<\/a> that featured long sleeve, floral applique, and pockets! From the couple’s sweet first look down to the pug photos they sprinkled throughout the day, Flora + Fauna<\/a> was there to capture every unique angle of this wedding!<\/p>\n

The most memorable part of the day was our first look. You put so much time into the planning side of things that the actual day can flash by so quickly. Our first look allowed to have that incredibly important moment together and not have to rush through it or share it with anyone else.<\/em><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

I knew pretty early on that I wanted to get married in a greenhouse, and The Horticulture Center was the perfect fit. It’s lush and beautiful as is, so I knew that no matter what I added to it, it would only continue to look better and better.<\/em><\/p>\n

My main advice in planning is to try to have as much fun with it as possible! It can often be an extremely stressful process, but I promise that it can also be so much fun. Fighting with your partner is almost inevitable, so know that that’s okay and completely normal. Just do your best to focus on the end goal and why you’re even doing all of this in the first place. The day is about expressing your love for each other, so ultimately it really doesn’t matter where Aunt June sits.<\/em><\/p>\n

Film is a huge part of my life so I made it a priority to have it incorporated in the reception. One of my all-time favorite movies, <\/em>The Umbrellas of Cherbourg, was projected (silently) on the floor in the lounge area. We also made sure to have a few photos of our Pugs sprinkled around, of course.<\/em><\/p>\n
