Lily and Davis’ Texas wedding at Bluff Dale Vineyards<\/a> served up vintage elegance with a distinctly edgy twist! When their plans for a warm outdoor wedding turned significantly chillier, the couple went with the flow and simply added cozy blankets, socks, and fire pits for warmth and an added level of coziness. Every detail played to the vintage vibe they created for their special day, from the cream and pink florals designed by Scott’s Flowers on the Square<\/a> to the mismatched antique place settings for the reception. From the moment the couple started getting ready together in the morning to the very end of their intimate reception, this Texas wedding was as charming as it was unique. And Lily and Davis’ photographer Nadine, of Just Like Honey by Nadine Berns<\/a>, did a splendid job capturing every single bit of it!<\/p>\n

We picked an outdoor wedding in April in Texas figuring that the weather would be nice and warm but not too warm. To everyone’s shock, and especially ours, it ended up being thirty degrees! Jackets and blankets and socks were brought out, a fire pit was burned, and marshmallows were roasted. None of this was planned, but somehow it made the day that much more exciting.<\/em><\/p>\n

The most important part of planning the wedding was making sure we found the perfect photographer, and we did. Nadine Berns is an absolute treasure of a human being. She’s fun and creative and professional. During the planning process, she offered tips and ideas for the day. Nadine suggested that we get ready together before the ceremony, and it was such a unique and rad idea and we loved it. In all of the craziness of the day, it was nice that we got to spend that intimate time together. She goes above and beyond for her clients and it shows through her hard work and attention to detail.<\/em><\/p>\n
