The news and internet is flooded today with fashion and entertainment reporting from the 2011 Academy Awards<\/a>, and I just had to chime in with some of my favorite red carpet hairstyles that would look equally beautiful for a bride on her wedding day. First up are the ladies who wore their hair swept back cleanly and simply, with classic, pretty makeup to match – Anne Hathaway, Jennifer Hudson, Sandra Bullock, Hailee Steinfeld and Mandy Moore. I love the old-Hollywood feeling that these up-dos add to each woman’s look.<\/p>\n

From Natalie’s sculpted waves to Michelle and Halle’s pixie cuts to Scarlett’s tousled bob and Gwyneth’s sleek straight do, this easy approach to a formal affair can give a fashion forward look to every woman no matter what her hair length or shape.<\/p>\n
