Kendra and Wallace celebrated their rustic ranch wedding at Heiser Farms<\/a>. The beautiful outdoor setting accommodated their large number of guests, who watched them exchange vows in a laid back and fun ceremony followed by an activity-packed barn reception. The wedding colors reflected the romantic theme with rose pinks, dusty blushes and champagnes, brought out in the bridesmaid dresses and flowers, designed by For the Love of Pete<\/a>. More than anything we wanted our wedding to be a true reflection of us both. The flowers, colors and other feminine details aren’t usually representative of most grooms. So, we worked together to create a look that was both beautiful, classic, and unique to who we are as a couple.<\/em><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

It was a must that our venue be outdoor. It was also a must that it could fit all of our guests! Heiser Farms provided us with both. It was a beautiful outdoor setting with plenty of room for our large guest list.<\/em><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

We wanted the ceremony to be short and sweet. Our family friend and pastor did a great job making the ceremony personal, but keeping it to the point. Our recessional song, the theme song from Star Wars, was the perfect nerdy touch to make the ceremony totally us!<\/em><\/p>\n

Our wedding colors were a pallet of rose pinks, blushes, and champagne colors, mostly brought out in the florals and bridesmaid dressing. The groomsmen and groom brought out different shades of grey. It all came together on it’s own really. Once we found the bridesmaids dresses, the flowers and everything else followed.<\/em><\/p>\n

We wanted our wedding to be fun and laid back. It was important to us that our guest enjoy themselves, and that we could enjoy the night with them. We had lots of activities throughout the night, from the traditional first dance and cutting of the cake, to a miniature train ride, and worship service at the end of the night.<\/em><\/p>\n

The photos taken in the flower field at our venue are our absolute favorite! It was as the sun was starting to set, so the lighting is romantic and warm. There is one of Wallace<\/span>picking me up and kissing me. White flowers surround us and the sun is peaking through behind us. It’s so romantic, like something out of a fairy tale.<\/em><\/p>\n
