Lauren and Kendrian channeled trendy vibes in their Phoenix desert wedding with an elegant black and white palette, edgy accents, and totally chic florals. The couple began their day with a gorgeous church ceremony, followed it up with an urban portrait shoot around Phoenix, and ended their perfect wedding day with an industrial and greenery-inspired reception at Events on Jackson<\/a>. Not wanting to abandon her love for romantic ballgowns to match her wedding’s hip style, Lauren wore a stunning tulle strapless gown by Watters<\/a>! Lauren and Kendrian wanted to fully showcase their love for the desert in their wedding photos, so they asked their photographer Abby Roses<\/a> to join them the day after their wedding for an edgy desert photo shoot, complete with a leather jacket, a beautiful horse, and sweet sunnies.<\/p>\n

The most memorable part of our day was during the ceremony where we both felt so much love, and the tangible presence of God around us.<\/em><\/p>\n

I tried on so many dresses, and really wanted to go with something really trendy – perhaps something with lace and long sleeves, and I did find some I loved, but I when it came down to it my fiancé told me to choose something that made me feel like a princess- and so I went with something a little more classy and glamorous than I imagined. I have no regrets, our wedding was “ballroom meets the desert” and I loved it. The thick tulle on my wedding dress was my favorite. Everyone else wore black and white – what a classy crew we had.<\/em><\/p>\n

Our advice: There’s going to be a lot of things that have the potential of stressing you out – take it moment by moment, and prioritize the things that are most important, and don’t worry so much about the other little things.<\/em><\/p>\n

The essential for us was making sure the day was saturated in joy from start to finish. We planned the whole day to be the most fun and relaxing chill wedding we could ever have. Also candles.<\/em><\/p>\n
