After falling in love while watching the sun set and moon rise one night at Big Sur in California, Trevor and Michaela felt there was no place more perfect to have their wedding. Choosing to elope at the gorgeous cliffside, the couple stepped into a breathtaking backdrop for their wedding photos. The beauty of Big Sur. Michaela<\/span>‘s dress was completely handmade for her by her mother, Kathleen Seward and close family friend Maureen Wiley, using lace from Kathleen’s wedding gown and other handpicked fabrics.Trevor<\/span> gathered vintage and custom tailored pieces to compliment the natural colors of the Big Sur wilderness.<\/em><\/p>\n

The Moments:<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

The excitement and treachery of scaling the cliff to get to the spot where we were to be wed. We chose a cliff side along Highway 1 about 50 ft below a turnout.<\/em><\/p>\n

The Couple Recommends:<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Joanna used the gold from Trevor<\/span>‘s father’s college ring to create our rings. She even sent us back the remaining gold after the process. Elicia Bryan captured the beauty of our wedding effortlessly. Each moment she shot was genuine and natural. We felt like our day was being artfully documented rather than staged. We had a blast working with her.<\/em><\/p>\n
