Jennifer<\/span> and Matthew’s vintage autumn wedding was filled with colors of warm orange and dark purple. Since their favorite time of year is fall, the couple choose The Roundhouse at Beacon Falls<\/a> for its romantic natural setting. The leaves of the trees were slightly crisp yellow, and the growing vines warmed the building. Keeping the decor to a minimum, the bridesmaids matched the bride in ivory attire and held colorful bouquets. Redfield Photography<\/a> expertly captured this warm and wonderful autumn wedding!<\/p>\n

The Wedding:<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

The Roundhouse at Beacon Falls<\/a>, Beacon, NY<\/p>\n

The Inspiration:<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

The fall season\/month of October was our primary inspiration. It’s our favorite time of year, why we incorporated so many bright red and orange details throughout, and why we opted for gold accents rather than silver. It’s also one of the reasons we chose the Roundhouse at Beacon Falls as our venue. It’s situated next to a small waterfall at Fishkill Creek, with tree-covered Mount Beacon in the background. It was the perfect autumn setting for us. Additionally, our sartorial choices were inspired by the past. I guess you’d describe our look as “classic” – my dress had a 1940s feel to it and my hair was set in finger waves, and his suit was very “Boardwalk Empire”.<\/em><\/p>\n

The Moments:<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Our favorite moment was probably the “first look.” It was fun to see each other dressed to the nines, and it really sunk in right then and there that, “Whoa, we’re getting married today!” <\/em><\/p>\n

Our photographers Marissa and John of Redfield Photography were just above and beyond. They’re extraordinarily talented and have an amazing eye for detail, with the added bonus of being very friendly, warm people. We couldn’t be happier with our wedding photos, and have received so many compliments on them – several of our soon-to-be-married friends have even asked us for their contact info, which is a testament to the wonderful job they did.<\/em><\/p>\n
