Soft, romantic, and whimsical were the guide words for Lauren and Paul’s elegant wedding, and it’s easy to see that they achieved their goal! The blush and peach color palette is light and summery, which perfectly fit their Manhattan wedding. Charmi Peña Photography<\/a> captured the carefully planned details throughout the day, but the real star of the event were the incredibly emotional moments the bride and groom will cherish forever in Charmi’s photographs.<\/p>\n

The Inspiration:<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

The theme for our wedding was soft, romantic, and whimsical. I also wanted to introduce elements of garden and natural. I knew I wanted an outdoor cocktail hour so everything from our fresh-fruit signature wedding cocktail to our main courses were on the natural side.<\/em><\/p>\n

The reception venue had some farm-to-table ingredients from their on-site greenhouse and farm and I wanted everything from the cake to my bouquet to be soft, romantic and natural. The cake was strawberry shortcake, with fresh berries and brushed, buttercream topped with fresh blush and peach garden roses.<\/em><\/p>\n

The Moments:<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

It is SO hard to choose a favorite moment from the wedding! I could provide a list!<\/em><\/p>\n

After the church ceremony, the bridal party walked over to Washington Square Park for a few pictures. It was a bride, a groom, 8 bridesmaids and 10 groomsmen casually walking through the streets of Manhattan and to one of the busiest parks. We gathered to take pictures by the famous archway and just as we were all settled in position a bee started flying around in our bouquets! Everyone was swatting the bee away and laughing hysterically. You can see it in the pictures. It made for some priceless photographs and and we think the onlookers were entertained!<\/p>\n

Lilli at Mimosa Floral is incredible! She understands your vision very easily and is so confident about executing your requests. Her floral arrangements were on point and I loved the Crystal candelabras!  Nathan and Chris at Retouch Relive Videography are so professional and capture the day beautifully without getting in the way. They are fun and funny too! Charmi Peña Photography is so laid back and talented. She is very assertive which is something that brides need that day! She’s great working with a huge group and she will get every shot you need, and then some! Her husband is the second shooter and he is trained by her, so, naturally, this lovely married couple complements each other to take super romantic and touching photos. Shannon designed our ceremony programs and seating chart framed poster which we currently have hanging in our home! Face The Day my airbrushed makeup for a hot NY summer that looks flawless and natural! Zuleika on hair nailed my hairdo within 20 minutes on the trial and it was flawless on my wedding day. <\/em><\/p>\n
