Gold accents, rich jewel tones, and the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest were all present in Lindsey and Michael’s Idaho wedding. The Coeur d’Alene Resort<\/a> was the perfect venue for the celebration with tall trees, a waterfront ceremony spot, and a reception hall with the most incredible natural light. Megan Clark of Clutch Events<\/a> designed the wedding of Lindsey and Michael’s dreams, complete with elegant centerpieces and a touch of glamour with bright gold elements throughout the décor.<\/p>\n

The Inspiration:<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

I love bright, rich jewel tones (magentas, greens, purples, blues, etc.), so I knew I wouldn’t have a real traditional wedding with pastels. We also both love being out in nature and love the Pacific Northwest colors (so many greens and blues), plus our venue was on a beautiful lake, which is surrounded by green hills and lots of trees. Thus, I decided that I wanted a super romantic, garden feel with pops of some beautiful jewel tones, like raspberry, plus we added in black and gold accents to dress it up a bit.<\/em><\/p>\n

The Moments:<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

It’s impossible to pick just one. The moment after the ceremony when we went back to the rooms we got ready in with both of our families- we could finally relax and just take it all in. Then we spent the night on the dance floor with all our friends and family. Finally, running through all our friends and family with sparklers to the classy wooden boat, which took us from the reception back to the resort on the lake. It was the perfect way to end the perfect evening.<\/em><\/p>\n

The Couple Recommends:<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Really, everyone did a great job. Megan from Clutch Events was so fun to work with and had so many great ideas to make our wedding special. Shane was also such a great photographer to work with. He made it comfortable for us and produced such beautiful pictures to capture the entire day! And I was totally obsessed with everything that Sally from La Happy did for us in terms of invitations, escort cards, table names, etc. She was also great to work with- very quick to respond and helpful when I had questions.<\/em><\/p>\n
