Wishing to create a feeling of Old Hollywood, Jennifer and Matt chose everything from the vivid design of their invitations to the rich, warm florals dressing the venue in hopes to give off that ambience. Gold bridesmaid dresses, gold table cloths, and gold table numbers added the perfect amount of jazz to this charming wedding at the Forest Park Visitor Center<\/a> in St. Louis, Missouri! The bride wore a smooth and elegant dress with a flared detail in the midsection, which brought a red-carpet feel to the attire. And, to top it all off, the incredible Giving Tree Photography<\/a> captured beautiful moments at this glamorous wedding!<\/p>\n

The Inspiration:<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

I really wanted a wedding that seemed like something I would plan. Almost every bone in my body is a creative one, and I hoped that the day would stand out in our guests’ memories, particularly because of how everything was pulled together. We didn’t want a typical Pinterest wedding — barns, vintage-y details, mason jars, etc. (although there is nothing wrong with that!). We just wanted something different. I’m sure my husband wouldn’t quite call himself “glam,” but I tend to think my style is a little glam. I’m not overly girly, but I love statement pieces. I love trying new things, being bold, and setting myself apart creatively. Oh, and I just adore gold. People asked me what our colors were so often…it was hard to tell them: gold, black, white, emerald green, dark reds to medium pinks. So many! But I had a vision for our day, and my amazing mom and our vendors helped make me make it the loveliest.<\/em><\/p>\n

The Moments:<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Overall, we just loved spending the day with the people we love most in this world. That was the biggest blessing. We have such loving families and friends, and I think it is safe to say that we would repeat our reception annually if we could! Also, our ceremony was incredibly special. It was exactly what we hoped for: worshipful, memorable, and full of meaning. We would easily repeat that time annually as well!<\/em><\/p>\n
