Lauren and Jason’s classic ballroom wedding at The Room on Main<\/a> couldn’t have been more chic with its subtle 1940s styling and the bride’s stunning and unique Nicole Miller<\/a> bow gown. Guests enjoyed reception seating as they watched Lauren and Jason exchange vows before everyone danced the night away to Mistral Band<\/a>, a terrific big band that kept the dance floor grooving. Shaun Menary Photography<\/a> beautifully captured the entire affair, including some of our favorite moments of Lauren and Jason sharing a few intimate minutes together before and after the ceremony.<\/p>\n

The Moments:<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Lauren<\/span>‘s favorite moment (and Jason<\/span>‘s least favorite) was the moment right after the couple was pronounced man and wife. They had planned to make a quick recessional to the back room at the Room on Main, but as they were making their way there, Lauren<\/span> decided it was too short. So, she lead Jason<\/span> around both sides of the room, making their way to every table, to make sure the big band could finish their song before they exited the room. Jason<\/span> was mortified!<\/em><\/p>\n

The Couple Recommends:<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

The band, Mistral, was amazing. Sammy Davenport, who is the leader of the band, organized a Big Band to play before the ceremony and during dinner, and it set a magical, elegant tone for the evening. It made everyone feel like they were transported back to the ’40s.<\/em><\/p>\n
