We feel so lucky to be able to share Janet and Mike’s intimate elopement celebrating their 15 years spent together! The Costa Rica elopement took place on Tamarindo Beach where Four Winds Weddings<\/a> organized a truly special ceremony for the couple and their precious daughters. Costa Vida Photography<\/a> joined the family to captured such a beautiful day spent in the sand and sun.<\/p>\n

The Inspiration:<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

It was a true elopement — we wanted simple but with some magic thrown in. I love everything boho, so I needed something along that aesthetic but something more sexy for a dress. We incorporated pieces from our home: a rug from our youngest daughter’s room and a vintage tapestry and kantha that we acquired over the years. I wore pieces of jewelry that Mike<\/span> had gotten me throughout our 15 years together and it really made me think of the journey that we have been on together.<\/em><\/p>\n

The Moments:<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Well, the whole entire day was just magic from beginning to end. We fell in love with Costa Rica pretty hard and were enjoying a pretty awesome trip leading up to the wedding.<\/em><\/p>\n

Everyone was absolutely perfect. From the very first contact Kirsten and Jon were on point and got what I was looking for. They had such great energy and nailed it on every level. My photos blow my mind. Im still obsessing over them. They are professional, laid back and just “got it” — two talented people. Oh and Kirsten totally picked the right officiant for us. He had such a cool vibe! Tricia from Maravilla weddings is so sweet and talented. I could not have even envisioned a better day.<\/em><\/p>\n
