Knowing exactly the way to Savannah’s heart, David proposed to her by getting their dog, Dozer, a new dog tag that read, “Will you marry me?” Fast forward a couple months, and their classically glamorous wedding at The White Room<\/a> in St. Augustine, Florida was filled with soft blush and white florals. During the ceremony, the bride wore a gorgeous, sheer, laced veil that added a sophisticated elegance to the look. The Inspiration:<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

My inspiration for the wedding decor came from things I love in every day life. I love items that are vintage, shabby-chic, classic and even rustic. I love the look of mercury glass, and wanted to use that for more of a sparkle. I kept the colors very muted and neutral so the color scheme was very light and bright. The same goes for wedding day fashion. I chose classic styles with a slight modern twist. The bridesmaids all wore different styles within the blush color family, and the groomsmen kept within the scheme in a light grey suit. David<\/span> and I wanted to be able to look back on our wedding 20 years from now<\/span><\/span>, and still appreciate the choices we made.<\/em><\/p>\n

The Moments:<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

There are so many favorite moments from the wedding to choose from, but the one I have to say is when I walked down the aisle and saw my groom’s face. It’s what every woman wants to see on her wedding day.<\/em><\/p>\n

I highly recommend all my vendors! Marisa from Sweet n’ Flour not only bakes incredibly treats, but she was a pleasure to work with! She made sure we had everything we desired on our dessert table, and staged it beautifully. Carlton from McGee Entertainment did a great job guiding guests throughout the evening, and kept the party going. Lori from Lori Parker Floral Studios did an incredible job designing our floral arrangements and understood our vision. Amanda Hopcraft and her team did a fantastic job with the hair and makeup and kept it in line with our vintage, classic vision. And our photographers out-did themselves! They truly captured the essence of the day, and topped it off with an impromptu slideshow in the middle of our wedding to showcase a teaser of our wedding photos for our guests. Everyone loved it!<\/em><\/p>\n
