Inspired by Fields on West Lake<\/a>, a barn venue in the Ontario countryside, Shannon and Andrew exchanged vows in an intimate ceremony. The couple kept things simple when it came to decor, allowing the rustic setting to speak for itself. We love the bride’s desaturated bouquet of light pink and sage green. Nikki Mills Photography<\/a> gorgeously captured the romantic mood of the day, especially as newlyweds Shannon and Andrew ventured out into the tall fields together before dancing the night way.<\/p>\n

The Inspiration:<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Most of our wedding day decor was inspired by the venue. I can’t really pinpoint why, but the venue just fit. Andrew <\/span>grew up in the country, and Prince Edward County is just beautiful. We lost a dear friend a couple of years ago and she also played a big part in the decision. We aimed to keep things pretty simple and true to us.<\/em><\/p>\n

The Moments:<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

There are so many favourite moments from our wedding. The first was walking down the aisle and seeing Andrew<\/span>‘s reaction. I felt so lucky and blessed. Saying our vows was incredibly special and memorable. Lastly, being able to see all of our hard work, planning, and visions come to reality was such a great feeling. We couldn’t have asked for more on our big day, sharing it with friends and family.<\/em><\/p>\n
