The only love that comes close to Juliana and Jordan’s love for each other is their love for their dachshund, Bosley. Bosley serves as the couple’s inspiration for their Orange County wedding at home, and with the help of A Good Affair Wedding & Event Production<\/a>, the whole affair came together beautifully. Everywhere you look is a well-planned detail that perfectly reflects the couple’s love for each other and, of course, dachshunds!<\/p>\n

The Inspiration:<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Once we decided to have the wedding at the house, that kind of set the mood for us. We went for an overall romantic, vintage glam vibe. Warm candlelight, chandeliers hanging from the trees, exposed vintage wood tables with antique gold sequence runners, lush flowers and gold accents. Juliana<\/span> looooves gold! As for colors, we kept the pallet light and neutral as to not fight with all the gorgeous color already surrounding the house, like the patina green accents on our home and the beautiful bougainvillea and green vegetation. Creams, ivories, champagnes and golds served as our color inspirations. <\/em><\/p>\n

One small but very important inspiration for our wedding was our dachshund, Bosley. When we started planning with Natalie, we had an ongoing joke that Bosley was going to be the theme of the wedding. Natalie has two dachshunds herself, so she could easily relate. As time went on, we started incorporating the dachshund silhouette in little places like the invitations, menus, and escort cards. Soon enough Bosley was indeed one of the themes of the wedding! What started off originally as a joke ended up being one of the most personal and special decor aspects of our wedding. Of course, Bosley himself made an appearance during the wedding as well!<\/em><\/p>\n

The Moments:<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Our favorite moment came during the reception. We were sitting at our own little table, with our dog Bosley, looking out at all the tables filled with our friends and family, people that we love immensely who had come from near and far to celebrate our marriage. It was like we were spying in on someone else’s life, thinking, “These people must be really special to have gathered all these people to celebrate such an occasion.” To realize that all these people were here to celebrate us, that this was real life, was an incredibly humbling, special and intimate moment for us to share together. We were really feeling the love! Being able to sit back, take a breath and witness such a scene of love in our own beautifully decorated backyard was definitely our favorite moment from our wedding!<\/em><\/p>\n

The Couple Recommends:<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Natalie Good and the whole team at A Good Affair were absolutely outstanding. They really pulled everything together and made this wedding the wedding of our dreams. Every time we think back on that fabulous day, all we can do is smile and reminisce about how perfectly special the day was for us. Natalie encouraged us to get married at our home, the home Juliana<\/span> grew up in, because of all the sentimental value surrounding it. It was Juliana<\/span>‘s parents dream home that they imagined and built together. Unfortunately, both her parents are no longer with us, so to be able to have the wedding at the home that means so much to Juliana<\/span> made everything feel absolutely perfect and meant to be. Without Natalie, this special and sentimental wedding would not have been possible. She really made our home the most intimate and romantic wedding venue we could ever imagine, and we will forever be thankful to her for that gift she gave us.<\/em><\/p>\n
