Planning a wedding from across an ocean can be stressful, but you certainly can’t tell from Erica and Garth’s effortlessly beautiful wedding in Ontario. The couple had the help of the bride’s father and bridesmaids to create their dream wedding at a sentimental venue, Erica’s father’s Bed & Breakfast. We can’t get enough of the delicate ivory color scheme and the photography by Joel & Justyna<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Inspiration:<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Our wedding day was exactly how I pictured what my wedding day would be since I was a little girl. The moment Garth and I got engaged my father begged us to have the wedding at his Bed and Breakfast. The last thing I wanted was to have my Dad not be able to enjoy the day because he was hosting the event so it was out of the question. Two days after the engagement we moved to Switzerland. As I browsed venues from afar, none of them really felt quite right. We longed for the summer days spent at Russell Manor sipping French 75’s in the garden surrounded by my fathers’ beautiful flowers. The choice was then very clear to us, we would get married in Morrisburg, a place with so many memories and already filled with so much love. <\/em><\/p>\n

The Moments:<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Our wedding felt extra special because we had not seen most of our friends and family in over a year – every hug was worth a thousand hugs, all that had not been given over the past year. The morning of our wedding, the clouds parted, the warm Canadian sun shon down on us in the little town of Morrisburg and we promised to love each other until the end of time.  I hope this day stays in everyone’s heart forever.<\/em><\/p>\n

The Couple Recommends:<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

In my opinion, we managed to snag some of the best vendors in Ottawa.  I mean really, look at that list! The photographers, makeup and hair stylists, and caterers were all fantastic.  Eating delicious food, looking beautiful, dancing the night away, and capturing it all were our top priorities. <\/em><\/p>\n
