From the perfectly drawn chalkboard signage to Shu’s graceful gown, nothing was out of place as every second of the wedding was beautifully coordinated and designed by Brilliant Event Planning<\/a>. The couple even hired a live painter during their reception to capture the magic of the night. The Inspiration: “We wanted to keep our wedding decor simple and classic with small pops of color. We also wanted to incorporate some personalized details that represented our relationship. Sarah really brought it to life with our table signs, escort cards, and other special touches. As for fashion, my dress was the first dress I tried on and I knew right away that it was the perfect one for me. I always knew that I wanted a dress that wasn’t strapless. I loved the combination of a clean silhouette with great shoulder details. Ed definitely knew he wanted a tux that was different than the traditional black and he ended up choosing a custom midnight blue tux.”<\/em><\/p>\n

The Moments:<\/span> “Shu: My favorite moment was actually during cocktail hour when Ed and I had a few minutes alone in the dressing room with no cameras, guests, or wedding day crew. It gave us a chance to catch up on the day and just relax in each other’s company.”<\/em><\/p>\n
