With a fascination of old world architecture and the romance of ol’ Paris, Sarah and James made plans to tie the knot at their favorite European destination. Celebrating their union in the “City of Love” was a dream come true for this bride and groom, and Ted Kim of The Mou Studio<\/a> captured their bliss all around the city with total perfection.<\/p>\n

The Goals: <\/b>We wanted to get married in a place that was meaningful to us, with a setting that sparked our love and will forever be a reminder of the start of our lives together. The ceremony and reception were also very important to us, whereby we would be celebrating our love with our family. We wanted them to have the best experience. And we wanted a photographer that would be able to capture the moments that we knew would fly by and be able to show us in the way that we wanted.<\/i><\/p>\n

The Planning: <\/b>We have always been fascinated with the architecture in Europe and especially hold Paris dear to our hearts as that is where we were engaged. <\/em>Because it was a destination wedding in Paris, we hired a wedding planner to help us out with the long distance details. We only knew for sure that we would be bringing our photographer with us from home, around the world to Paris to capture the start of our life.<\/i><\/p>\n

The Design:<\/b> We wanted to evoke a<\/em> feeling of romance from the old world. The architecture of the city, the hotel, and the rooms that we were in were of the utmost importance in details. Bright flowers brought in a touch of the modern day and the overall backdrop took us on a journey into a past whereby our life’s history could have been written.<\/i><\/p>\n

The Moments: <\/b>I loved taking pictures all around Paris with our wedding party and chauffeur – it was a great way to see the city and capture great moments. The best thing that we found out was that our photographer had done a reconnaissance of all the locations on his own time which really lent to a great experience.<\/i><\/p>\n

The Advice: <\/b>Hire a good photographer! You are so busy with the wedding and the details, it is easy to let the moment pass you by.<\/i><\/p>\n
