We’re always excited to see wedding inspirations that are a little off the beaten path. Wedding planner Brigitte Erwin of Artsy Heartsy Events<\/a>, put together a true urban romance with a sassy modern edge and some totally glammed up bohemian style! On top of the fabulous wedding style, the photography from Caroline Winata of Milou + Olin Photography<\/a> is pretty much the cat’s meow in our eyes.<\/p>\n

For this lovely styled shoot from Artsy Heartsy Events<\/a>, the inspiration was a romantic, urban styled wedding with a bohemian edge. Metallic gold, brass, and silver help add a festive touch, while dark, rich colors like cocoa and burgundy lend some romance to this winter event.<\/em><\/p>\n

Because this couple is more edgy than traditional, we gave our bride an asymmetrical, free-form bouquet and dressed her up in stunning Maggie Sottero<\/a> dresses perfect for the modern bohemian wedding. The other flowers and table settings are more organic and overgrown – an artsy mix of air plants, succulents, and architectural sculptures.<\/em><\/p>\n

Event planner Brigitte Erwin of Artsy Heartsy Events<\/a> adds:<\/p>\n

There is so much wedding design out there that is bride-centric and feminine, and I wanted this shoot to be more masculine. I’m definitely a girly-girl and LOVE sequins and glitter and polka dots… but I also love to wear men’s cologne just to mix it up!<\/em><\/p>\n
