What three adjectives best describe your wedding day?<\/b> Intimate, flawless, and elegant.<\/i><\/p>\n

Was there a decor theme that ran through your wedding? What was the inspiration for that particular idea and how did it reflect you as a couple?<\/b> We wanted to work with the intimate setting of candle light surrounded by vast city lights. To us this reflected our private lifestyle and taste for the finer things in life.<\/i><\/p>\n

Where did you choose to hold your NYC wedding, and how did the location influence your decor decisions?<\/b> We felt the rooftop of the Mondrian chose us. We looked at a lot of venues, but none grabbed us like this one did. The view from Soho was really the decoration. It became more about accenting that and not detracting from it.<\/i><\/p>\n

What were some of the different ways you used decor elements to create the beautiful, cohesive event you were envisioning?<\/b> We went for classic simplicity for our decor elements: black tie, white peonies, white cottage roses, green whimsical ivy, white linens, simple place settings with gold candelabras, and coastal Italian food served family style. Place cards doubled as a “make a wish” for the bride and groom, and each place setting was set with a white ceramic wishbone ornament for guest keepsake.<\/i><\/p>\n

Looking back, do you have a favorite project or successful decor idea from your wedding? <\/b> The florist made a flower arch for our ceremony – it was a perfect contrast against the city and skyline.<\/i><\/p>\n
