What were the top three priorities for you in planning your wedding?<\/b>
\n1) Guests: we wanted to do our best to make sure all our guests felt loved and had a fun time.
\n2) Venue: we wanted to be married outdoors surrounded by gorgeous blooms and an indoor reception space that was effortlessly elegant.
\n3) Photos: it was important for us to find an amazing photographer to capture every bit of our wedding day and the details.<\/i><\/p>\n

What wedding traditions or cultural traditions did you incorporate into your wedding and what did they mean to you?<\/b> Since I was a little girl, Ive always loved to see brides in traditional qi pao dresses on their wedding day. Custom-made to fit in a variety of bright fabrics and intricate embroidery, the qi pao is very much part of Chinese culture and often worn at weddings or times of celebration. To be able to wear one myself on my own wedding day was very special to me.<\/i><\/p>\n

Were there any places where you broke the rules in your wedding planning?<\/b> Henry and I opted to do a first look before the ceremony, which goes against the tradition that the bride and groom do not see each other before the wedding. It gave us the opportunity to have just one moment all to ourselves. It was emotional to say the least and Ill cherish the feeling always.<\/i><\/p>\n

What was your biggest wedding planning success?<\/b> The biggest success was that we were able to pull off a fun party and celebrate with the most important people in our lives!<\/i><\/p>\n
