The Wedding:<\/b> 9.10.11 – South Ferry Church<\/a> and Sunset Bungalow at Kinney Farm<\/a>, Narragansett, Rhode Island<\/p>\n What three adjectives best describe your wedding?<\/b> Authentic, rustic-elegant, and laid-back.<\/em><\/p>\n What inspired your personal wedding style, and how did you incorporate your style and personalities into your big day?<\/b> As native Rhode Islanders, it was important for us to keep it local, so all of our vendors from the caterer to the band were from Rhode Island. Music plays a huge role in our lives, so it was a central theme in our wedding. Our close friends, Roisin and Bob, sang during the ceremony, an amazing local DJ, Peter Dante, played reggae during the cocktail hour and several members of our reception band, Wayz and Means<\/a>, are dear friends of ours.<\/em><\/p>\n Looking back, what are the moments, decisions or memories that you love the most about your wedding?<\/b> The best decision we made was not having a full bridal party; we only had a maid of honor and best man, which kept it simple and intimate. For me, Meghan, my best memory was when Derek surprised me by taking the stage and performing with the band and displaying a hand-written message to me on the back of his guitar.
