When you imagine your dream wedding, you probably picture the perfect venue, stunning flowers, and a skilled photographer and videographer to capture every moment. However, in today’s world of social media dominance, there’s a new addition many are adding to their team: a wedding content creator.

You don’t have to be an influencer to want to share your wedding moments on Instagram stories or join in on TikTok trends with your bridesmaids. If you’re a couple looking to enjoy every moment of your special day while sharing your happiness with the world on TikTok and Instagram, this new service might be exactly what you need. What is a Wedding Content Creator?

Think of wedding content creators as your personal documentarians of the big day. Their primary mission is to capture those unique, sometimes amusing, and undoubtedly candid moments in real-time. They’re right there with you, continually snapping photos and recording videos on their phones, providing a close friend’s perspective on your wedding day.

Whether you intend to share your wedding on social media or simply treasure a BTS collection of precious memories in your camera roll, they excel at capturing those unscripted, small moments that might slip your mind. The best part? You won’t have to wait months to receive your photos and videos. Some of these content creators even handle the editing and posting on your behalf, allowing you to stay present.

Why Should You Hire a Content Creator?

You might be wondering why you need a content creator when you’ve already hired photographers and videographers. Most people enlisting their services aren’t influencers, and some aren’t even active on social media. They treasure those behind-the-scenes moments and understand the value of photos and videos, even if it’s purely for personal enjoyment.

While some couples desire comprehensive documentation of their entire wedding day, others are looking for specific content to share on platforms like Instagram or TikTok just for the sheer fun of it. Regardless of the motive, having this content can be fun to look back on without feeling guilty for giving the job to one of your wedding party members.

How Much Do Wedding Content Creators Cost?

Experienced professionals usually start their pricing at about $1,000, considering the many memories they capture, their extended presence, and their quick work. Prices can vary depending on how much they give you, how they edit, and how fast you get everything.

Remember that their job is more than just on the wedding day. They often plan with your other vendors before the big day. And if you’re bringing in one from another place or having a destination wedding, there might be extra costs for their travel.

How Do You Book a Content Creator?

Use Social Media

Platforms like TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and Pinterest have become goldmines for finding these professionals. Many wedding vendors now recognize the importance of content creators in enhancing their online presence. Social media now functions as an additional search engine, and thanks to the expertise of these experts, a quick exploration of these platforms will connect you with talented individuals ready for hire.

Ask Your Wedding Vendors

If you’ve already hired a photographer, videographer, or wedding planner, ask them for recommendations. Wedding vendors often have reliable connections; some may offer content creation as an extra service.

Listen to Personal Recommendations

Don’t underestimate the power of recommendations from friends and family who’ve previously worked with a wedding content creator. Their advice and stories can help you make the best decision.

Tips for Hiring a Wedding Content Creator

Explore Their Portfolio and Check Reviews

Take a look at the projects they’ve done before to see if you like their style and if it fits your vision. We also recommend looking at any reviews they may have.

Talk About Expectations

Have a clear discussion about what you expect and what they will deliver. To help understand their approach and ensure you’re on the same page, ask them the following questions:.

  • What is your content style?
  • What’s your pre-planning process?
  • What’s the content I can plan on receiving and the expected delivery timeline?
  • Do your services impact my photographer’s work?
  • What is your experience with weddings, and how many have you covered?
  • May I view your previous work?
  • Can you characterize your photography and videography style?
  • What is your typical client workload, and how do you manage it?
  • How will you coordinate with other vendors I’ve hired?
  • Are you available for my wedding date?
  • What equipment do you use?
  • Who holds the rights to the footage, and what guidelines should I follow when sharing it on my social media platforms?

Examine the Contract

Carefully review the contract, ensuring it covers all your expectations and addresses potential scenarios, including travel, cancellations, and postponements.

Get to Know Their Personality

Besides their professional skills, ensure you get along with the content creator. You’ll spend your whole wedding day with them, so having a good relationship is vital.

Hiring a wedding content creator is a great way to capture candid, unforgettable moments on your big day. Though they’re not necessary, consider adding their services to your list of essential vendors so you can relive your magical day through the lens of social media.

Now that you know about these professionals, let’s take it a step further. You can make your wedding planning easier by using social media. Along with our planning checklist and budget guide, check out our tips for using social media as a valuable tool to make your dream wedding come true.

Go Inside This Junebug Planner’s Own Dream Indian Wedding in Tuscany

June 9, 2025 | justine

Reshma and Brendan’s Indian wedding in Tuscany was the perfect blend of tradition, intention, and personal flair. Nestled in the heart of the countryside, Il Borro was more than a scenic backdrop. It was the only venue Reshma had in mind. “It’s such a unique place,” she shared. “It’s actually a whole medieval village restored by the Ferragamo family. We rented out the entire village so our guests could have the full Tuscan experience.” She had first visited it years before meeting Brendan, and its peaceful charm and five-star service made a lasting impression.

Planning began almost immediately after the engagement. While her parents let them choose the venue, they—true to tradition—selected the wedding date with the help of an astrologist. October 20, just after their engagement anniversary, felt meant to be.

As a wedding planner, Reshma had a clear vision from day one. For both the Catholic and Hindu ceremonies, she wanted a timeless, cohesive look built around a clean color palette and white roses. The same flowers Brendan used to propose. She worked with Giardino Delle Fate Flower Design, who instantly understood her style and brought it to life.

She and Brendan managed the early planning themselves—booking vendors, building timelines, and designing mood boards. But knowing the complexities of organizing an Indian wedding in Italy from the U.S., Reshma leaned on her talented Resh&Co. team. “As someone who’s very Type A, I like to control every detail. But I’m so glad we handed things off where it mattered. It allowed us to truly enjoy the process.”

And enjoy it they did. With two events per day across three days, their celebration honored both cultures while making guests feel at ease. “Not everyone was familiar with both traditions. So we created a mood board with the full itinerary and outfit suggestions to make packing and planning easier for everyone flying in from around the world.”

What We Love About This Indian Wedding in Tuscany:

  • The three-day, six-event fusion celebration blending Catholic and Hindu ceremonies
  • The Aperol Spritz-themed mehendi and rustic welcome dinner
  • Personalized touches like handwritten notes, custom totes, and a guest newspaper
  • The carefully curated outfits, including heirloom jewelry and a 60-foot veil
  • The Millefoglie wedding cake assembled live in front of guests

From the beginning, Reshma and Brendan knew they wanted their guests to feel appreciated every step of the way. “Since our guests were traveling all the way to Italy, they were our top priority. We covered accommodation and meals for three days and built our budget around that.”

The experience started even before arrival. Pallavi from Kiana Invitations created a save the date styled like a postcard reading “Meet us in Italy,” complete with handwritten notes to each guest, an effort that took over a month. It came tucked into a sleeve shaped like Il Borro’s silhouette. Their formal invitation, created with Sakshi of Inquisited, featured letterpress cards wrapped in a watercolor of Il Borro’s gates. Designed to feel like opening the door to the village itself.

Their big day was filled with thoughtful details that made guests feel instantly welcomed. Upon check-in, guests received personalized keycard holders with a note from Reshma’s parents and another watercolor of the venue. Each room included a custom tote bag designed by Reshma’s maid of honor, Lauren, through her company LoSull Creations. The bags featured an illustration of the couple and the phrase “Find me in Tuscany,” echoing their save-the-date theme. Inside, guests found snacks, a bottle of Il Borro wine, and a custom newspaper filled with fun facts and icebreaker games—like “Find the guest who…” to spark conversations.

Throughout the weekend, the couple continued to surprise them with small, meaningful gifts: Panama hats and fans with on-site calligraphy on Day 1, cozy shawls for chilly moments on Day 2, and handwritten thank-you notes with bomboniera on Day 3.

Kicking Off Their Indian Wedding in Tuscany with Color, Comfort, and Aperol Spritz

Day 1 of Reshma and Brendan’s Indian wedding in Tuscany was the perfect way to welcome guests and set the tone for the celebration ahead. The couple encouraged guests to wear breezy white outfits to complement the relaxed countryside setting, they added their own splash of color.. Reshma wore a vibrant cherry red draped gown with delicate ruching, while Brendan complemented her look in a cream suit with a red bow tie and pocket square, adding just the right pop.

Festivities began with a mehendi ceremony inspired by their favorite Italian aperitif. “We wanted to kick off the weekend in the most authentic Italian way possible—with Aperol Spritz and pizza!” Against a backdrop of crisp white decor with bold pink and orange accents, guests mingled as a roaming band serenaded them and guided the way to the welcome dinner.

The evening transformed into a charming, rustic pizza party. Long wooden tables were decorated with fresh tomatoes and bright red florals, giving the space the feel of a cozy neighborhood pizzeria.

Embracing Both Cultures Through Ceremony and Celebration

Blending two cultures was never just about having two ceremonies. It was about creating moments that felt personal and true to both families. Day 2 began with a romantic Catholic ceremony set in the Italian garden of Il Borro, overlooking the entire village.

“We wanted to keep it simple, elegant, and romantic.” The altar and florals were filled with white roses—a subtle nod to Brendan’s proposal—and a string quartet played “Until I Found You” as Reshma walked down the aisle, with her bridesmaid Jordan singing live. Adding to the emotion, Brendan’s sister and Reshma’s brother co-officiated the ceremony, making the experience even more meaningful.

Reshma wore a corseted ball gown from Galia Lahav made of French guipure lace, featuring a cat-eye neckline and a dramatic 10-foot veil embroidered with the lyrics “Forever’s gotta start somewhere.” The same lyrics playing during Brendan’s proposal. “I kept my makeup soft and romantic, and chose a messy updo so the veil would have something to grip onto,” she shared. For her something blue, her Maid of Honour stitched a heart-shaped piece of the blue polka dot dress Reshma wore the day she met Brendan into the gown’s hem.

Brendan wore a white and black suit, while the wedding party kept it classic in all black. Sleek and timeless, just like the ceremony itself.

Afterward, guests had a short break to change outfits before heading to the amphitheater for the sangeet, where the energy shifted entirely. Bright pinks, bold florals, and upbeat music transformed the evening into a lively celebration. One of the most memorable moments? Reshma’s mom surprising everyone with a heartfelt dance to ABBA’s “Slipping Through My Fingers.”

Choosing a Venue They Already Loved

For Reshma and Brendan, Il Borro wasn’t just a wedding venue, it was the obvious choice. “My family and I visited a few years ago, even before I met Brendan,” Reshma shared. “We were immediately drawn to its peaceful charm and five-star guest service. So when it came to planning the wedding, we didn’t even consider other venues.”

After Brendan proposed, the couple flew to Bangalore for a traditional South Indian engagement ceremony that spanned two days and welcomed over 1,200 guests. While it was a joy to be surrounded by so many loved ones, they quickly realized how chaotic it had been. “We barely had time to soak it all in. That experience made us think a smaller, more intimate wedding might be more our style.”

Honoring Heritage with a Traditional Ceremony and Starry Farewell at Their Indian Wedding in Tuscany

The final day of Reshma and Brendan’s Indian wedding in Tuscany began with a deeply traditional Muhurtham ceremony. The mandap was placed on a quiet, tree-lined road framed by holm oaks and a sweeping mountain view. “It felt very earthy and calm, and really stayed true to my South Indian roots,” Reshma shared.

Inspired by the flowers they saw blooming during a summer site visit, the couple chose soft pink florals and white roses for the mandap. Elegant, subtle, and perfectly in harmony with the natural surroundings. Reshma wore a gold Kanchi saree chosen by her mom and aunts, paired with a matching blouse embroidered with tiny pink flowers to mirror the mandap design. Her 60-foot veil added an extra sense of drama to the peaceful setting.

Brendan wore a custom-stitched dhoti and kurta, while the groomsmen matched in cream, and the bridesmaids wore pink and gold lehengas—coordinated to reflect the ceremony palette. For jewelry, Reshma traveled light, bringing only pieces with deep sentimental value. “I wore bangles passed down from my paternal grandmother, and the longer necklace belonged to my ammamma’s temple collection,” she said.

That evening, the celebration transitioned into a chic, under-the-stars reception in the villa’s courtyard. The black-and-white color scheme was intentionally minimal, allowing the night sky and heartfelt moments to shine. At each place setting, guests found handwritten thank-you notes from the couple, doubling as both place cards and parting words of gratitude.

Instead of a traditional cake, Reshma and Brendan embraced Italian culture with a Millefoglie—a layered pastry of flaky puff pastry and rich cream, assembled live by a chef in front of the guests and finished with fresh berries and powdered sugar. It was the perfect sweet ending to a celebration that was as meaningful as it was beautiful.

When Plan A Turns Into Plan B (and That’s Totally Okay)

Despite months of meticulous planning, not everything went according to script—and that’s okay.

“If you checked the forecast on October 1, the entire month looked sunny, except for the exact three days of our wedding,” Reshma recalled. “So yes, it was rainy and gloomy the whole weekend, and we had to pivot to Plan B for almost everything. But we were in Italy, surrounded by our favorite people. What more could we ask for?”

Even on the final night, there were last-minute surprises. Just moments before their grand entrance into the reception, Reshma’s carefully bustled gown came undone. “We were about to go into our first dance, so we couldn’t just walk out like that,” she said. “Brendan, I, and three of my girlfriends rushed upstairs to safety-pin it back together. Meanwhile, the DJ was announcing us—twice—thinking we just hadn’t heard him!”

Her biggest piece of advice for other couples? Let go of the small stuff. “You can plan every detail down to the millisecond, but something will still go off-script. And that’s okay. Guests won’t remember if the flowers were the wrong shade or if the DJ played the wrong song. They’ll remember how they felt.”

From the stunning outfit changes to the meticulously planned floral arrangements, every detail was a feast for the senses, perfectly complemented by the picturesque setting. With Junebug vendor Take It Photo capturing every moment, this celebration is truly one for the books.

Pithi-Haldi Ceremony

The Shaadi festivities began with the Pithi-Haldi ceremony, a vibrant and heartfelt pre-wedding tradition where loved ones apply turmeric paste to the couple, symbolizing blessings for glowing health and prosperity. Shivani and Nilan’s Pithi ceremony was an explosion of color, joy, and laughter, as seen in the playful throwing of petals and the exuberant atmosphere.

The decor featured cascading garlands of bright marigold blooms suspended over the seating area. The backdrop of blush, tangerine, and rose-hued blooms created a romantic contrast against the earthy tones of the venue.

For this special ceremony, Shivani wore a stunning ensemble featuring a blouse with intricate floral embroidery and a flowy ivory lehenga with nature-inspired motifs, paired with a sheer dupatta adorned with star-like embellishments. Her braid, decorated with delicate flowers, added an ethereal touch to her look. Nilan complemented her perfectly in a light sage-green kurta and crisp white trousers, creating a sophisticated yet laid-back vibe for the event.

From Shivani, “Our Haldi ceremony was a blend of tradition and symbolism. It’s a ritual that is as meaningful as it is colorful, aimed at protecting and blessing the bride and groom. Yet, it was our family’s involvement that really made the day stand out. Their laughter and stories transformed a traditional ceremony into a personal and unforgettable event.”

Sangeet Night

The Sangeet is a cherished pre-wedding event in Indian culture, traditionally known as “Music Night” or a “Musical Party.” It’s a celebration that brings together the couple’s families and friends in a joyous atmosphere filled with music, dance, and laughter. The evening often includes choreographed dance performances by loved ones, showcasing Bollywood-inspired routines, setting the stage for a fun, celebratory Shaadi weekend.

Tropical decor featuring vibrant floral arrangements of red ginger, bird-of-paradise blooms, and lush greenery on modern gold stands. The reception tables were adorned with playful pink and orange napkins, adding pops of color against the neutral tablecloths. The backdrop of the dance floor featured a neon sign that read ‘It Was Always You,’ framed by a lush jungle of foliage and bright florals. Photos of family love stories were displayed on a memory wall, honoring the legacies that brought Shivani and Nilan to this day.

The couple’s grand entrance set the tone for an unforgettable night,. Shivani and Nilan wowed in custom, coordinated outfits for their Sangeet ceremony. Shivani wore a midnight blue organza lehenga with velvet applique embroidered flowers on a corset top and a flared skirt. The shimmering accents  caught the light with every move. Nilan wore an intricate beaded custom sherwani with a pin tuck kurta pyjama and custom embroidered shoes.

Beyond the entertainment, the Sangeet symbolizes the blending of two families, breaking down barriers and fostering connections in a festive setting. Often, henna artistry adds to the celebration, allowing guests to experience the culturally rich tradition of Mehndi as a symbolic gesture of joy and beauty.

Sataak Ritual

The Sataak, an intimate but essential ritual in Hindu weddings, added a deep layer of cultural significance to the celebrations. As Shivani and Nilan performed traditional prayers and rites, their love and commitment shone through. The serene energy of this sacred event balanced the liveliness of the surrounding Shaadi festivities.

The breathtaking mandap was adorned with cascading arches of peach, blush, and cream florals, framed perfectly against the stunning Los Cabos ocean backdrop. The blooms added a soft, romantic touch to the lively atmosphere.

Intricately embroidered maroon dupattas rested on guest chairs as offerings of tradition and respect. The ceremonial items, including a picture of Saibaba, a delicate Om symbol created with rice, and gold statuettes, added spiritual significance to the setup.

Shivani looked stunning in a floral-embroidered mint green and ivory lehenga with intricate embellishments and a flowing dupatta. Nilan complemented her in a pastel blush sherwani with subtle geometric textures, completing a soft yet regal look.

The couple’s families joined them under the floral mandap, draped in hues of blush, red, and sage green, symbolizing unity. Each ritual was carried out with joy, laughter, and reverence as Shivani and Nilan performed the sacred rites.

Mehendi Pool Party

The pool party and mehndi event felt like stepping into a summer dream, , kicking off the Shaadi celebrations with style. The crisp blue and white decor set the perfect tone for the beachy yet chic vibes of Los Cabos, with personalized signs and giant “N & S” letters reflecting in the pool like a scene out of a movie.

The bride’s outfit stole the show—her vibrant pink ensemble, adorned with tassels and mirror work, added the right pop of fun and glam. Paired with bold earrings and chic sunglasses, she radiated joy, while Nilan kept it effortlessly cool with his laid-back yet polished vacation look.

Guests lounged under umbrellas, and laughter echoed as the mehndi artists adorned hands with intricate, tropical-inspired designs. There was no shortage of energy as friends and family embraced the warm sun and festive atmosphere.

The Wedding Ceremony

Shivani was absolutely stunning in her deep red lehenga adorned with intricate embroidery and embellishments, paired with a rich dupatta that added an extra layer of elegance. Her statement jewelry—a dazzling choker and matching earrings—brought a regal touch to her overall look. Nilan looked equally dashing in a cream sherwani with detailed embroidery that exuded timeless sophistication. His coordinating safa and string of pearls added the perfect finishing touches.

Set against the breathtaking backdrop of the ocean, Shivani and Nilan’s wedding ceremony was nothing short of magical. The mandap was truly a sight to behold—soft drapery, l cascading roses in shades of blush and ivory, and woven hanging baskets that added a natural, boho touch.

The aisle was adorned with flowers, guiding everyone to the stunning mandap. A standout feature was the intricate arch woven with roses, hydrangeas, and hanging wicker accents that gave the space a warm, bohemian touch.

Surrounded by family, the ceremony reflected rich traditions and heartfelt moments. From the symbolic washing of the groom’s feet by his parents to the exchanging of floral garlands, every detail of this part of their Shaadi weekend was steeped in meaning and love. As they sat beneath the ornate mandap, surrounded by floral drapery and lantern accents, the couple’s glowing smiles were a reflection of their commitment and connection.

A Glamorous Reception

The reception was an unforgettable celebration filled with glamour, joy, and vibrant energy. The entire room was transformed into a bold and romantic scene drenched in rich shades of red. Towering floral centerpieces of crimson roses created a  dramatic effect, while mirrored accents and sleek gold table details added a contemporary touch of elegance.

The velvet lounge seating on stage, surrounded by a breathtaking floral installation, felt like something straight out of a grand theater. Above it all, chandeliers glistened from the crimson-draped ceiling, casting a warm, sophisticated glow.

Shivani and Nilan made their grand entrance hand-in-hand, radiating happiness. Shivani’s reception look was pure magic—she wore a glittering ivory and silver lehenga that shimmered with every step. Nilan was equally polished in a classic black tuxedo, giving major old-Hollywood charm.

The dance floor came alive as friends and family performed choreographed routines that had everyone cheering. The atmosphere was electric, with music, laughter, and dancing that lasted late into the night. The couple’s joy was absolutely infectious as they celebrated surrounded by their loved ones under a sky of chandeliers and cascading red roses—a night of memories that felt as timeless as it was spectacular.

This Romantic Garden Wedding Features Nearly 100 Floral Arrangements Sourced and Crafted By The Bride’s Mom

Bella and Sam’s romantic garden wedding was a floral masterpiece brought to life with love, creativity, and family. Hosted at the picturesque Hotel du Village, their celebration was a dreamy blend of vibrant blooms, personal touches, and an intimate connection to nature.

Sam and Bella, who both work in biotech sales, first met as college students at Syracuse University. Serendipitously placed in neighboring dorm rooms, they quickly became friends and officially started dating after a sorority date night set-up. Their wedding day honored their decade-long journey with heartfelt details inspired by their love of nature, family traditions, and a shared Celtic heritage.

The couple’s vision was to bring the outdoors in, creating a romantic yet formal setting infused with countryside charm. They fell in love with the first and only venue they toured, drawn to its incredible outdoor space. With their wedding held on a picturesque fall day, the setting perfectly framed their dream celebration.

The breathtaking florals—nearly 100 unique arrangements—were lovingly crafted by Bella and her mother. A lifelong gardener and creative soul, Bella’s mom took on the floral design with passion, sourcing stems from local farms and antique vases from nearby shops. The family’s barn served as a floral workshop in the days leading up to the wedding, with friends and family coming together to arrange stunning centerpieces and bouquets. Bella and Sam cherished the memory of picking fresh blooms for the bride’s bouquet.

The floral design extended to the tablescapes, which featured an array of fruits and vegetables—dripping grapes, luscious figs, pomegranates, honeynut squash, and pears—adding texture and a touch of Dutch master still-life artistry. The rich hues of the seasonal produce harmonized with the florals, creating a feast for the eyes. The wedding cake echoed this theme, decorated with cascading fruit.

The bridesmaids wore mixed and matched dresses in shades of olive green, gold, and brown, with textures like sequins, silk, and ruffles that complemented the fall landscape and added elegance to the nature-inspired palette.

Bella wore a stunning Martina Liana gown that felt like it was made for the day’s ethereal vibe. The romantic ruffles and 3D floral details gave it just the right amount of drama, while the soft ivory with subtle rose and beige undertones kept it delicate and organic.

Before their romantic garden wedding ceremony, Bella and Sam shared a private vow exchange after their first look—a cherished moment where they could reflect on their decade-long journey together.

The wedding was a true family affair. Bella’s younger sister officiated the ceremony, while Sam’s sisters performed heartfelt readings

As the sun set, the celebration seamlessly transitioned to a lively reception illuminated by golden candlelight and filled with laughter, music, and dancing.

The reception decor combined a vintage, romantic ambiance with lush floral arrangements and intricate details. Tables featured cascading centerpieces with a mix of dried and fresh blooms, creating a luxurious garden-inspired feel. The florals were displayed in antique-style vessels, adding to the vintage aesthetic.  The combination of florals, fruits, and warm candlelight captured the essence of rustic sophistication, blending old-world charm with modern romance.

Design details were carefully woven throughout the day, thanks to Bella’s sister, who created the invitation suite, menus, and signage A highlight of the decor was the hand-painted canvas seating display, depicting a landscape of Scottish highland cows. Vintage frames hung from the display, guiding guests to their tables. Table numbers featured framed woodland landscape prints, connecting the seating display, the guest gifts of printed matchboxes and bottle openers, and the overall theme.

Taper candles in deep jewel tones, paired with gold candlesticks and glass votives, contributed warmth and elegance to the setting. The tables were dressed with white linens, complemented by dark napkins and gold-rimmed chargers, creating a striking contrast. Individual place settings included beautifully designed menus, adding a personalized touch to each guest’s experience.

Later in the evening, Bella changed into a shorter party dress, ready to dance the night away.

The celebration didn’t end with the final dance. Guests continued the festivities with late-night bites at the bar before moving to the outdoor fire pits. S’mores, cocktails, and crisp fall air made for a cozy, unforgettable after-party that lasted into the early morning.

Bella and Sam’s romantic garden wedding shows us that weaving personal and family contributions into your big day can make the day even more memorable. Don’t be afraid to delegate tasks to loved ones with specific talents—they’ll cherish being part of the process, and it adds a unique, heartfelt touch to your celebration. Whether it’s flowers, design, or other elements, involving family can make your day feel like a true labor of love.

Château de Champlâtreux, Épinay-Champlâtreux, France

The Perfect Blend of Classic Elegance and Romance at Their Château de Champlâtreux Destination Wedding

We aimed for a classic, timeless, and elegant vibe for our wedding. Our design choices were intentionally made to ensure they would always stay in style, allowing the beauty of the venue to shine. Our minimalistic and simplistic aesthetic perfectly complemented the atmosphere we envisioned. We invited our guests to dress in all black to enhance the overall vibe, creating a chic and sophisticated look. The night itself was pure magic: with clear skies, a gentle breeze, and a perfect temperature of 75 degrees, it was breathtakingly calming and genuinely everything we dreamed of. The warm glow of romantic candlelight added an enchanting touch, illuminating the evening and creating a fairytale ambiance we will never forget.

A Day Filled with Unforgettable Moments

Every moment of the day was unforgettable, from the heartfelt speeches to the emotional moment of seeing each other at the end of the aisle. Watching our guests arrive and witnessing their joyful reactions was truly special, and dancing the night away with everyone made it all the more magical. It truly was the best and most memorable day of our lives.

The Importance of Finding the Right Planner

My top wedding planning advice is to hire an amazing planner with whom you have a genuine emotional connection. Things may go awry, but sharing that bond creates a mutual understanding that you’re both on the same team, ready to tackle any challenges together. I had a clear vision for our wedding and was searching for a planner who would not only understand it, but would also be inspired by it. When I saw our planner’s eyes light up as I shared my ideas, I knew she was the perfect fit. Additionally, being organized is essential—juggling multiple tasks can be overwhelming, so having a way to stay connected with your team, like a radio in your ear, is helpful. I take immense pride in every detail of our wedding. Jordan and I dedicated over a year to planning, and seeing our vision come to life was truly special. We paid close attention to every detail, putting our heart and soul into each decision. It’s gratifying to know we brought our dream to fruition.

Maximizing Their Budget for a Dream Wedding

My main focus in planning was anticipating potential issues and having a backup plan in place. As a Virgo and a perfectionist, it was crucial for me that everything went smoothly without significant hiccups. We aimed to maximize our budget while creating our dream wedding, ensuring that our guests felt cherished. We needed to host a wedding and create an unforgettable experience for everyone. With guests traveling worldwide, we wanted to make the entire experience as easy and seamless as possible for them.

Embracing the Venue’s Natural Beauty

Our wedding planner immediately identified Château de Champlâtreux as our perfect venue. When we traveled to Paris seven months before the wedding, we braved the winter rain and ice to see it in person, and despite the weather, we instantly knew it was the one. The venue’s inherent beauty spoke for itself, which was essential since we envisioned a minimalistic design. We wanted a space that would captivate on its own. The timeless elegance of the château made it an obvious choice. Additionally, we were determined to have most of the wedding outdoors, and August typically offers ideal weather. Its convenient location near the heart of Paris, where many of our guests would be staying, made it the perfect fit. It truly checked off every box for us.

Personal Touches That Made Their Château de Champlâtreux Destination Wedding Unique

There were little personalized touches of Jordan and me everywhere. Our unique seating chart featured an envelope containing the table numbers and a customized note from Jordan and me. We wanted each guest to feel cherished and unique, and this unexpected touch brought tears, laughter, and joy. It truly added a heartfelt element to the day. In addition to the personalized seating chart with notes for our guests, we named three signature cocktails that were special to us. One was called “Wade’s World” to show love for our three-year-old golden retriever, whom we missed so much. We also had our custom logo on all the bars and the dance floor, along with custom napkins, kippahs, and matches. We wanted everything to feel very intimate and personal.

This Sure Thing Chapel Elopement Was Complete With a Haircut, Tattoos, and In-N-Out

October 19, 2024 | justine

Gianna and Mitchell had dreamed of eloping in Las Vegas since their first days together. When the moment finally arrived, they knew they wanted to capture the charm of Old Vegas with a vintage vibe. The couple effortlessly nailed their wardrobe and looks, while the enchanting city and the talented Junebug vendor, The Rose Reflective, helped bring their vision to life. Every detail of their Sure Thing Chapel elopement was filled with personal touches and delightful surprises, making their special day truly one-of-a-kind.

On their big day, filled with surprises, they kicked things off with a trip to Dutch Bro’s, where they were delighted to receive free drinks after sharing their exciting wedding news. Next, they treated themselves to doughnuts at Saint Honoré and stopped at Trader Joe’s to pick out flowers for the bouquet. Once back at the hotel, they assembled the bouquet together before getting ready for the ceremony. In a spontaneous moment, Gianna gave herself a haircut just an hour before saying, “I do”! After tying the knot at the chapel, they took a fun detour to a nearby tattoo shop for surprise tattoos. Staying true to their Vegas vibe, they cruised around for portrait sessions in a convertible with the top down, ending their celebration with delicious In-N-Out burgers and cake.

Choosing Las Vegas for their celebration, complete with vintage fashion and sweet, laid-back vows, was the perfect choice for the newlyweds. We’re thrilled to share their story! Once you see these stunning photos, you might just find yourself longing to break away from tradition and elope in an epic location, just the two of you.

The Couple:

Gianna and Mitchell

The Wedding:

Sure Thing Chapel, Las Vegas, Nevada

How Their Sure Thing Chapel Elopement Came To Be

I have come across Sure Thing Chapel on TikTok many times. A content creator I follow named Lily got married there, and I was just obsessed. Every time they would come across my for you page, I would grab Mitchell and say, “Look, look! How cute is this venue!” or “Look, here’s that venue again!” And he loved it just as much as I did! It was the perfect vintage vibe that we were looking for.

The Shift from Expectation to Personalization in Wedding Choices

Get the idea of “supposed to” out of your head. We did the whole bit with the venue tours and meeting with vendors because it’s what we thought we were “supposed” to do. None of it felt right, and we couldn’t figure out why until I saw a girl on TikTok that said, “If there’s any part of you that thinks you don’t want a big wedding, don’t do it.” Planning became a breeze once we realized that we weren’t “supposed to” have a big wedding or do things a certain way and that it was just about what we wanted.

Personalizing Every Detail of Their Celebration

We stayed true to ourselves and did exactly what we wanted every step of the way. From what we wore to where we went (thank you, Milly, for building us a flawless itinerary), I feel like our personalities really popped, and we were able to make our day all about us. Which may sound selfish, but if there’s a day where you get a pass on being selfish, it’s your wedding day.

How They Cut Costs Without Sacrificing Memories During Their Sure Thing Chapel Elopement

Having photos to remember our dream wedding was our main priority; we both agreed early on in the planning process that if we were going to splurge on something, it was going to be our photographer. Which we did, and it was absolutely well worth it. On the other hand, since it was just the two of us, we cut out essentially all of our other costs. We didn’t have to purchase food, alcohol, favors, a DJ, a florist, a reception venue, any of it! We had one decoration, a banner we made ourselves; we put my bouquet together from Trader Joe’s flowers, and my dress and his tux were admittedly both from Amazon.

A Day of Surprises: How They Made Bold Choices Just Before Saying “I Do”

Our tattoos were surprises! Our venue was right next to a tattoo shop, and when we were about to head to the slots, Milly was like, “Y’all wanna get tattoos?” UM, yes! Also I chopped off about 6 inches of my hair roughly an hour or so before we got married. As we were getting ready separately, I felt short hair would fit the vibe better, so I grabbed a pair of scissors and started chopping! I’m in no way, shape, or form a hairstylist, so there were a million and ten ways it could’ve gone horribly wrong, and Mitchell had no idea. Luckily, it turned out how I wanted it to, and Mitchell loved it!

This Paliku Gardens Wedding Offered Incredible Views of Hawaii

August 18, 2024 | justine

Tammy and Moonyoung dreamed of a cozy garden wedding with incredible views of the Koolau Mountains. They chose Hawaii to make their big day even more magical, surrounded by mountains and water. After months of planning, hunting for wedding ideas on Instagram, and creating a mood board, their vision came to life beautifully. Their Paliku Gardens wedding boasted a sunset-inspired color scheme, breathtaking flowers and decor, and views that left everyone in awe.

They couldn’t have picked a more stunning spot for their ceremony. The couple exchanged vows with the sea, mountains, and horizon, creating a perfect backdrop. The magic continued at their tented garden reception, where candlelit tables adorned with lush flowers and greenery set a romantic tone. The highlight of the evening was the beautiful floral and lighting installation above the dance floor, adding an extra touch of enchantment to their special day.

Their wedding day was like a fairy tale brought to life, full of breathtaking details that are sure to inspire your own special day. Thankfully every moment of this beautiful celebration was captured by the talented Junebug vendor Derek Wong

Cherishing a Quiet Moment Before their Paliku Gardens Wedding Ceremony

The most memorable part of the day was definitely the private first look that Moon and I shared at the Halekulani Hotel before heading to our ceremony and reception at Paliku Gardens at Kualoa Ranch. It was a special moment just for the two of us before the whirlwind of the day began. It allowed us to truly be present with one another, and it felt like we were the only ones in the world—except for our photographer, videographer, and wedding content creator, who were there to capture the moment.

How to Balance Joy and Budget on Your Wedding Day

Make decisions that will make you happy as a couple. Your wedding day is a time to celebrate your love and the beginning of the next chapter in your lives. Your guests are there to celebrate you, so do what brings you joy. Sticking to a budget can be challenging, but my one piece of advice is to splurge on things that will make an impact or are important to you. Create a prioritization list to help you decide where you might need to stay under budget so you can splurge on the things that matter most.

Choosing the Right Wedding Vendors by Trusting Their Gut

We’re most proud of two things when reflecting on our wedding and the entire planning process. First, we trusted our instincts and chose the right vendors with whom we connected and truly vibed. Living in Boston and planning a destination wedding in Hawaii meant we had to make the right choices with our vendors. With so much happening behind the scenes, their guidance and support made the 1.5 years of planning and the actual day feel seamless. Second, we’re glad we prioritized our happiness and made decisions based on what would bring us joy on our wedding day.

Why a Paliku Gardens Wedding Was the Perfect Choice for Them

When we decided on a destination wedding, there was no doubt we wanted it to be in Hawaii. After all, it was the first place we vacationed together. Initially, we explored resort and hotel options because we thought it would be easier to coordinate with fewer vendors, but it didn’t feel right for us. We ultimately chose Paliku Gardens at Kualoa Ranch (where many movies, like Jurassic Park, have been filmed) because it truly captured the essence of Hawaii. An outdoor wedding overlooking the Koolau Mountains—absolutely breathtaking. We couldn’t see the venue in person until our wedding day, and it was more than I could have ever imagined. It was definitely worth coordinating with multiple vendors to pull off such a beautiful and perfect wedding day.

The Creative Journey Behind Their DIY Paliku Gardens Wedding Signs

We DIYed our menu and small wedding signage, including the bar menu, table numbers, gifts and cards sign, guestbook sign, dinner menu, and table name cards. I invested in a Cricut machine during the wedding planning process because I’ve always had a creative side and knew I wanted to make something special for our big day. The signs were all acrylic, hand-painted with vinyl lettering that I cut using the Cricut machine.

Creating Instagram-Worthy Moments with a Bubble Gun

We brought a bubble gun machine for our grand entrance and used it on the dance floor throughout the night. It was a huge hit with our guests and created some truly amazing photos and videos for Instagram reels.

Honoring The Bride’s Father with a Special Pasta Dish During Their Paliku Gardens Wedding Reception

The wedding day menu featured a special off-menu item created by Memoirs to honor my late father. Since Moon and I love pasta, we knew we needed to include a pasta dish alongside the braised short rib and coconut macadamia nut-crusted catch of the day. We added garlic shrimp with linguine pasta to pay tribute to my father. The wedding day menu was family-style, reflecting our cultural tradition of sharing meals with our closest family and friends.

This Whimsical Chatelherault Country Park Wedding Was Put Together by an All-Women Team & We Couldn’t Love it More

August 2, 2024 | justine

A whimsical theme adds magic to any celebration, and this Chatelherault Country Park wedding inspiration shows exactly that. Featuring real-life couple Kelly and Ula as the glowing brides, the historic 17th-century building in the peaceful Scottish countryside sets the perfect scene for timeless luxury. It was a beautiful mix of elegance and romance, put together by an all-women team, and we couldn’t love it more.

The florals, in particular, were a highlight, with breathtaking arrangements adorning every corner. The ceremony beautifully incorporated Scottish traditions, including moments of handfasting and toasting cups. A standout moment was the stunning cake display, where wild florals cascaded from the drawers of a vintage dresser, adding a whimsical touch to the opulent setting.  To top it all off, the wedding gowns continued the floral theme with exquisite attention to detail. Intricate appliqué and rich textures mirrored the enchanting flowers adorning the venue, adding another layer of romance and allure to this editorial shoot.
