Rachel and Joshua took desert glam to a new level in their gorgeous wedding at Sedona Golf Resort! Using a rich, moody palette of burgundy, black, and champagne, the couple and their planner from Coco Collective created a chic vibe for both their outdoor ceremony and their indoor reception. Joshua’s burgundy tuxedo jacket from Brother’s Tailors and the bridesmaids’ black Morilee gowns set the tone for the wedding party, and Rachel carried that palette into her bouquet, her lip color, and even her black Vans, which also came in handy for the best father-daughter dance we’ve ever seen! No detail was left unattended and each moment captured by Ashtyn Nicole Photo was even better than the last. The most memorable part of our day was the first look. We were both excited and nervous and when we saw each other it was just pure happiness and excitement for the day.
We both fell in love with Sedona. It was where we took our first road trip together, where we got engaged, and has always been one of our favorite places. We chose our venue in Sedona because of the spectacular views! Our wedding colors were black, burgundy and champagne. I convinced my now husband that he’d look great in burgundy so after that we got a burgundy tux made and the rest is history with our colors!
In terms of DIY projects, we created two small donut walls, personalized agate slices with everyone’s name, and fun signage throughout! The bride’s mother wrote everyone’s name on the agate slices and wrote the unplugged ceremony and dancing sign.
Joshua’s advice: add 25% to what you think your budget should be. Rachel’s advice: stay true to what you want and don’t be afraid to take chances and be different. Also, do a first look! It made the ceremony and the day so much more enjoyable.

Wow! What a fun wedding and awesome couple to work with. I was so excited when Rachel and I met the first time for a consultation and she revealed her dark and moody color scheme/theme for her flowers. It was so unique and refreshing at the time!
