My name is Melanie, and I'm a German filmmaker living in Portugal with my wife and our two cats. I studied cinematography and screenwriting, but have always longed for love stories that were more personal and less make-believe than those of cinema.

In 2015, I started Andorinha Films to capture the intimate and personal moments that make life worth living, and tell stories that are authentic, meaningful and real! Capturing, re-living and eternalizing other people's love stories is an honor, a calling, and a responsibility I take very seriously.

As a storyteller and filmmaker, it is my passion to turn your love into images, movements and sounds that capture you just as you are - from emotional, cinematic teasers to legacy feature films! I don't believe in cookie-cutter weddings, so I've designed my services to be as individual and unique as each of my couples.

I believe that life is fleeting, but love is not, and I can't wait to meet you and celebrate your love in whatever shape or way it comes.
