DESCRIPTION

Manowce is a historic property uniquely located in northwestern Poland, surrounded by boundless woods, far from residential areas and set right on the shore of a large bay next to the Baltic Sea. Despite its remote location, Manowce is only 40 minutes from Szczecin (Stettin) and 2.5 hours from Berlin and its airports. There are direct flights between Berlin and all major cities in Europe plus many cities in America and Asia. It takes one to three hours to fly to Berlin from anywhere in Europe and the tickets are cheap. In addition, the property offers a complimentary shuttle service from and to the Berlin airports for the guests and the couple.

OUR OFFER

Manowce is licensed for civil ceremonies and we hold humanist weddings, but of course, we are also happy to host the reception only. For foreign couples, we can handle all the paperwork and get the necessary permissions from local authorities and churches for them to legally marry in Poland. We can arrange wedding ceremonies for all denominations and religions. Manowce is open to all wedding planning options. You can use our in-house wedding coordinator or we can recommend a local wedding planner who knows local suppliers. You may also choose a home-based planner who will cooperate with our in-house coordinator. Couples can choose one of our wedding packages or can customize them as they like. Each package includes the most essential services and a shuttle for the couple and guests from and to Berlin airports. The package does not cover lodging, as guests usually pay for their accommodation. Manowce welcomes weddings of all types and sizes. These can be large parties outdoors for up to 100 guests, or wedding receptions for two, just the eloping couple. Whatever the size of the wedding, Manowce always offers its services on an exclusive-use basis.

The wedding reception can take place indoors in the historic Great Hall or – in summer – outdoors in a marquee situated close to the shore of the lagoon. For marquee weddings, the Great Hall can serve as the backup location, should it rain heavily on the big day. If the couple likes, we can infuse the wedding with Polish music, dance, food and wedding customs. We can serve pierogi, Polish dumplings. On arriving at the reception party, the newlyweds may be greeted by their parents with a huge loaf of bread, salt and two vodka shots. Destination weddings often turn into a little holiday for the guests. If you’re looking to entertain yourselves and your guests during the day, then along with swimming in the bay and mushrooming in the woods, Manowce can organise activities such as kayaking, sailing, fishing, cycling, golf, horse riding and shooting.

PRICES

We offer three wedding packages: Emerald, Ruby and Diamond. Emerald includes the most essential services, while Diamond covers almost everything that you may need. The price for each package depends on the number of adults and children over 12 (the couple and guests). For outdoor weddings, the price includes the cost of the marquee. There is no charge for children under five and there is a 50% discount for children aged six to twelve. We have a transparent pricing policy. 

The most expensive package (Diamond) costs 28,800 euros for 2–6 people, 30,000 euros for 7–12 people, 32,000 euros for 13–20 people and 34,500 euros for 21–30 people. The cost for over 30 people is 1,000 euros per person, but not less than 34,500 for all the party. The prices for the other two packages, for low season and for weekdays are lower.

ACCOMMODATION

We have 13 double bedrooms and 3 suites for you and your guests, and the experience is quite different from a normal hotel. Wait until you see our sumptuous bridal suite, an enormous apartment designed to make every bride feel oh-so pretty and confident as she and her entourage prepare for the day. The bedrooms and suites can accommodate up to 33 guests in total, or 42 including sofa beds and extra beds in some rooms. For the remaining guests we can organize hotel accommodation in Szczecin as well as comfortable transportation for the 40-minute journey.

VACATION OFFER

Destination weddings often turn into a honeymoon for the couple and a mini-vacation for the guests. Manowce is happy to cater for such an extended stay. If the couple wants to entertain themselves and their guests during the day, then along with swimming in the bay and mushrooming in the woods, Manowce can organise activities such as kayaking, sailing, fishing, cycling, golf, horse riding and shooting.
