We make your weddings or events as unique as the story as we're all about effortless and colorful elegance. Founded in 1999, A Monique Affair has worked with the most prestigious venues and creative partners in the San Francisco Bay and surrounding areas. We proudly celebrate all love, equally and hold a high value to diversity and inclusivity. Our signature aesthetic is refined and classic, with elevated details and lots of texture.

We are a full-service wedding design and planning company that specializes in curated wedding experiences, but we only accept a limited number of weddings per year, allowing us to focus uniquely on each of our couples. We also take a limited number of Wedding Day Directions couples per season. Our Wedding Day Directors + The AMA Dream Team will make sure your wedding day is taken care of logistically and efficiently!

Chanda kept us on track with our wedding vision and our budget, she was an absolute joy to work with. On the day of our wedding, her entire team was extremely polished and professional and the whole day went so smoothly. Even my bridesmaids were impressed by the direction they got from the AMA team and one said that our wedding was the first one she's been in where she actually knew where to be and what to do. She also recommended excellent vendors, from cake to bands to photography! 10/10, would recommend A Monique Affair to everyone

Having worked with Chanda and her AMA team on many weddings over the years, I have to say that she is one of the warmest, organized and creative planners in the industry. Not only are her and her team the utmost professionals, they truly listen to their clients and go above and beyond. No detail is overlooked. When I work with Chanda, I know that the event will be in good hands and unfold without a hitch. And that's not always the case with all planners! From grand events to intimate celebrations, Chanda's creative eye for styling events always blows me away. As a photographer, I know that I will be taken care of and the expectations of the day are always clearly communicated. There is a reason why Chanda's been around for decades as she delivers consistent quality with genuine heart. I see how happy she makes her clients and I am so grateful for any opportunity to work together.

I've been working with Chanda, the owner A Monique Affair, for several years as a co-vendor for weddings and other events. Chanda and her team are wonderful to work with and have actually helped to keep me and my team stay organized as we often provide desserts for their events. A Monique Affair is detail oriented, diligent, responsive and very pleasant to work with. They go above and beyond to ensure incredible service and memorable events. I absolutely plan to use them for my wedding and highly recommend Chanda and her team for weddings and other events.

Chanda made the experience of planning our wedding as fun and stress-free as possible! She’s creative, organized, patient, and did a wonderful job of making our ideas and vision for our wedding come to life. Chanda pays attention to the details, really listened to us, and had fantastic ideas to contribute. She beautifully balanced guiding us when we needed guidance and letting us take the lead when that’s what would be best. And on top of her and her team’s incredible service, they were all lovely humans to work with! We couldn’t recommend Chanda more, lucky to have her.

We LOVED working with Chanda, Alejandra, and Syrhonda! The entire AMA team is kind, professional and create beautiful weddings. We heard from many of our guests that they were impressed with how smoothly the wedding day went. Throughout our planning process, we were able to see how respected team AMA is in the wedding industry. We received a list of preferred vendors from team AMA. Everyone we interacted with, from the DJ to potential caterers, all had such great things to say about team AMA. It made us feel really happy about our decision to work with them.
