During the past 12 years, award-winning Royal photographer Matt Porteous has developed his reputation as one of the UK’s leading wedding photographers, capturing weddings in some of the most beautiful locations around the world.
The love he has for his work, the people and places that he encounters along the way is apparent in the detail and perspective, in the stories he tells in his photographs.
" I never have a set way of shooting. Every couple is different, so every wedding will be different. After all, my role is a storyteller, focusing on the story of your day, with all its unique atmosphere, fun and beauty. It's always a pleasure when I work with couples who give me the freedom to be creative and capture the natural emotions of their wedding "
I'm fortunate to work with amazing couples in some of the most beautiful destinations around the world. Building personal relationships and trust with my clients is a must before the wedding day, through a face to face consultation or on Skype, to truly understand my client's personality and vision for their wedding.
Matt Porteous has been awarded a number of UK and international awards for his work.
Previously commissioned to shoot Prince George’s third birthday and Pippa Middleton’s wedding, Matt Porteous was invited back as the families private photographer to capture Prince Louis’ christening at Clarence House. Whilst on location, Matt captured the official photographs of Prince George to mark His Royal Highness’s fifth birthday on July 22nd, alongside official photographer Matt Hollyoak.
Matt works alongside an incredible team of photographers and filmmakers at Wedding_M. Constantly testing each other to deliver better versions of themselves and ultimately, their work. They are available to document weddings worldwide, any time of year.
The hallmark of their success is the relationship that has been built on mutual admiration, respect and solid values.
