Shoe lovers rejoice! Seattle’s newest shoe boutique, A Mano, has opened and we are already making our (very long) wish list! Junebug’s dear friend and A Mano owner Nealy Blau, has reimagined the downtown space that used to house legendary shoe store Ped with sleek modern furnishings and quirky personal touches to showcase the amazing handmade shoes she finds all around the globe. Cool Italian boots from Fiorentini and Baker and delicate, hard to find wedges from Japanese line Miho Masui are some of our favorites, along with purses by Calleen Cordero and jewelry by Jamie Joseph. Hooray for A Mano for making shopping this fall so much fun!

Married October 1, 2005 at The Woodmark Hotel in Kirkland, Kimberly, John and their guests braved a rain storm that miraculously ended just as their ceremony was

about to begin. The clouds parted, the sun came out and their music filled ceremony was perfect. It ended with the whole bridal party dancing back up the aisle to “Ant’s Marching” by  Dave Matthews, and on to the reception overlooking beautiful Lake Washington.

Junebug recently took part in the first annual University Village Bride Ideas Wedding Show, and it was a huge success! We had a blast visiting with all the brides who stopped by to check us out and enter to win our fabulous $500 fall shopping spree at Tulip. Coffee to a Tea with Sugar provided yummy cupcakes for us all to snack on and our booth looked beautiful decorated with flowers from Juniper Flowers and fabrics from Choice Linens. Thanks to everyone who helped make it an amazing day!
