 Cook at home with Crush
Now that the weather outside is frightful, there’s no cozier place to spend a date night than right there in your own home. But we’re not talking take-out and scrabble here; we’re talking about a decadent and romantic dinner for two. Light a few candles, pour a glass of wine and get cooking! Make it a surprise treat for your sweetie, or better yet, cook together. Chef Jason Wilson from Crush has given us some warm winter recipes to help stir up a little passion in the kitchen. Try his amazing Red Kuri Squash Soup, Grilled Lamb Tartare and Braised Chanterelles for a date night that’s sure to keep out the cold!

Congratulations to Jim and Ivy!!! Married September 30, 2006 in a day filled with both tradition and fun. After their musical Catholic ceremony at Blessed Sacrament Church, Jim and Ivy sped off in a bright red Mini Cooper. The reception at Bell Harbor showed off the sunset over the Sound, and featured a traditional tea ceremony to honor their families, and a beautiful performance by Ivy’s a cappella singing group.
We have a winner!
Lucky lady and Junebug reader Shalini Gujavarty is the winner of our $500 shopping spree at Tulip. Shalini is planning her Seattle wedding with fiancé Eric, and blogging all about the experience.
