June 10, 2014 | jen

Nothing impresses us more than a couple that can turn a city hall affair into a dream wedding location! Bride Danielle’s signature style shines against the backdrop of the stunning Hartford City Hall, and LindseyK Photography was there to capture all her elegance in this amazing setting.

The Vision: I chose soft pastel colors, Tiffany blue with peach. My dress also had feathers on it which created the soft look. Everything was pretty balanced with the soft colors and flowing gowns the bridal party wore.

The Style: I wanted to have a very soft romantic look and didn’t want a traditional wedding gown. When I chose my gown with feathers, I tied in a dove theme with the wedding favors and a bird cage for the cards. The invitations kicked off the look I was going for and tied in everything else. Hartford City Hall really worked of what I wanted for a look for the ceremony and feel of the whole wedding. I just went with what I wanted and it came together very nicely.

The Dress: I chose my Mark Zunino dress because I wanted to be different from everyone else and I loved the feather look. That gown made peoples jaws drop. It was stunning, beautiful, and on top of that, it was very meaningful for me.

The Accessories: Since my gown was the center of attention with the feathers, I wanted very simple accessories so I just stuck with very simple yet stunning earrings and a beautiful belt.

The Advice: Have fun and go with your style. This is the only day you can show people your style through a huge event so have fun with it. I sure did!
