He was her first kiss on the playground, and now they’re husband and wife! Tracy and Clive’s British Armed Forces inspired wedding at the Tower of London was filled with royal blue and red colors that resembled Clive’s uniform. Taking advantage of the historic architecture, Butterfly Effect photography captured the couple’s breathtaking moments around the grounds.

The Couple:

Tracy and Clive

The Wedding:

Tower of London

The Inspiration:

Clive, being in the Armed Forces, meant that it would be a military wedding so his uniform would be what we styled the day on. My favorite colour is royal blue and (luckily) went with his uniform so the colour theme was royal blue and was linked to everything we could including the order or services, favours, bridesmaids dresses, flowers etc.
The overall decor was classy without being over the top.

The Moments:

For me, there were 2 favorite moments. Getting ready was great fun and the perfect start to the best day of my life shared with my mum, 2 sisters, best friend and future mother-in-law. Next was walking down the aisle towards Clive. I had no nerves, worries or hesitations. Just pure happiness, excitement and fulfillment.

For Clive, it was on P.S. Elizabethan (our reception boat) when we took a bottle of champagne on to the front of the boat and had a ‘5 minute timeout’ where we looked back at our guests enjoying the party, popped the champagne and looked out at a moonlight London.

The Couple Recommends:

I would 100% recommend our AMAZING photographers. They were FANTASTIC from beginning to end. They did everything we asked and it was like having close friends sharing our day with us.
Also, The Bride in St Albans where I got my wedding dress from. They were so friendly and helpful and made the whole experience wonderful.
