Folksy Appalachian Mountain Elopement Inspiration

October 27, 2017 | emy

Photographer Michelle Lyerly and a team of talented wedding professionals created this dreamy Appalachian mountain elopement, featuring an actual band of wedding guests and an incredible autumnal views and crisp mountain air. From the matching couple tattoos to the sweeping views of the forest surrounding Blue Ridge Parkway, this wholesome elopement features an excess of romantic and thoughtful details. The subtle color palette of greens, whites, and shades of pink looked perfectly in place spread out among the peaks – Fuschia Moss Floral Design echoed the feel of the scenery with rustic berries, wild leaves and pale pink roses. We adore the bride’s unpretentious look: a simple top knot, woven sandals and gorgeous cold shoulder Rue De Seine wedding dress featuring loads of vintage-inspired lace and flutter sleeves.
