From their first date to the first look on their wedding day, Rebecca and Raymond have shared some of the most important moments of their lives at Aspen Wye River Marriott. The beautiful, lush grounds in Queenstown, Maryland was full of golden light and nostalgia as the couple said “I do” in an outdoor ceremony. Vesic Photography captured the romantic energy in every frame documenting Rebecca and Raymond’s extraordinary day.

We always knew we wanted to get married at Aspen Wye River. The property is special to us for many reasons: Raymond spent numerous teenage summers working around the property; Raymond‘s father managed the property for over 10 years; and, it was the site of our first date — a picnic on the dock of the Chesapeake Bay. The property has two large estates that are beautifully landscaped and our plan was to let the location speak for itself.

Hooman Bahrani at Vesic Photography was the best. Not only did he take the most amazing photos, but his energy and thoughtfulness is exactly what you want to be surrounded by on your wedding day.

Our favorite part of the day was having a private moment immediately after the ceremony to enjoy our first few moments of marriage just the two of us.

We highly recommend our venue! Aspen Wye River made planning easy — a built-in day-of planner to help with logistics, on-site accommodations to create the feel of a destination wedding, great food and unbelievable scenery. And last but not least: the most amazing staff that treats you like family.
