2017 Wedding Trends to Include in Your Upcoming Day

April 27, 2017 | nicole

Seeing as we’re now a quarter into the year, it’s about time we share our favorite 2017 wedding trends with you! These fashion-forward details are popping up in weddings all over the world this year and we can’t get enough! If you’ve been feeling uninspired about your wedding design, consider including one of these 2017 wedding trends in your upcoming day!

Floral Hoops

It was only a matter of time before we started seeing flower crowns being used in other ways on a wedding day! The floral hoop is one of our favorite 2017 wedding trends because it’s so versatile. The halo shape makes for a modern take on the traditional bridal bouquet. Play with size and display your floral hoops as a ceremony backdrop or overhead at your reception.

Copper Accents

While gold details have reigned supreme for several years, we’re loving the move to copper accents. From blooms and textiles to vases and candlesticks, including copper in your color palette adds a dose of warmth to the overall atmosphere of your day.

Asymmetrical Ceremony Backdrops

When it comes to cutting-edge ceremony design, stylish couples are ditching symmetry for uniquely asymmetrical ceremony backdrops. The visual interest created by asymmetry transforms your ceremony space into a piece of art worthy of the vows you’ll soon exchange!

Leather Jackets

This 2017 wedding trend blends fashion and function. A leather jacket is a fun way to add a little edge to your bridal look for the reception while also staying warm on a chilly evening. Our favorite leather jackets have been painted with custom lettering, so don’t be afraid to further personalize your look!

White Lace Bridesmaids Dresses

White and ivory bridesmaids dresses have been breaking tradition for the last couple of years, but we can’t get enough of the white lace bridesmaids dresses we’re seeing in 2017! Match your girls in the same lace pattern or choose a variety of pretty lace to show off each bridesmaids’ personality. If you do decide to switch up the lace between gals, we love when the dresses are all by the same designer to add a sense of continuity.
