On the grounds of the beautiful Rancho Valencia Resort, with it’s historic orange groves, lush green lawns, and intimate atmosphere, Shelby and Rich hosted their wedding, which was truly a family affair. Their mothers helped with endless pieces of the wedding planning like creating invitations, place settings and decor, hemming Shelby's dress, and even baking the wedding cake. Shelby’s grandmother’s brooch was incorporated into her bouquet, and during the toasts heartwarming letters and e-mails from Rich’s family back in South Africa were read aloud.
