Elizabeth and Josh had been planning to go geocaching for quite some time, geocaching involves using a handheld GPS unit to locate a treasure, or cache, hidden by participants who then post the latitude and longitude coordinates online for other participants to find. Elizabeth was eager to have an opportunity to finally get to do it.

The couple piled in to Josh’s Jeep with two friends and headed off in search of hidden treasure. Little did Elizabeth know that the stack of printed directions included an impostor. To ensure that their final destination was for Elizabeth eyes only, Josh had worked with the geocaching website’s owners to fake an official cache location.

Their friend Reina easily found the first real cache, an old ammunition box filled with an assortment of key chains. Josh found the next one, and the group decided to try for one more, called "Twin Falls." With a little help from her friends, Elizabeth found the spot beside the river where the cache should be. After some extra guidance from Josh, she discovered the special box and opened it.

"I saw a stack of letters, 50 or more, from all my family and friends," Elizabeth said. The top letter was from her dad. Confused and excited she began to read: "Congratulations on your wedding announcement to Josh."

Elizabeth looked at Josh, who took her hands in his and dropped to one knee. Covering the ring box with one hand, he told her that she couldn't see her treasure until she gave him an answer to his marriage proposal. She said yes, and their day of adventure became their most memorable day ever.
