Play With Color
Vibrantly colored makeup doesn’t have to be over the top or overwhelming. Used correctly it can look sophisticated, natural and refreshing. Nothing should stand out too much though, use a little bit of color in a lot of places to keep the look balanced.
2) Apply a cream blush on the apples of your cheeks.
3) Sweep a sheer green shadow over your eyelids and apply a darker green shadow tucked in along the lash line to add volume. Pull a little bit of both shadows down along the outer 1/3 of your bottom lash line. Tip: NARS has great colors available that are all very user friendly, Try NARS Eye Shadow in Fuji.
How to get Sarah’s clean and bright colorful look…
1)Prep your skin with a tinted moisturizer and use concealor to cover problem areas, or boost coverage all around with a fuller coverage foundation. Tip: When using more color on the lips, the rest of your skin should look flawless.
2)Use a sheer shimmer cream over your eyelids, then dip a smaller brush into a plum shadow and subtly apply along the lash line of the outer 1/3 of your upper lids.
Tip: TryStila’s Shadow Pots, available in an array of colors. They are super easy to apply and travel friendly.
3)Finish your eye with black mascara.
4) Apply a light splash of color to your cheeks, echoing the color to be used on your lips. This will keep the lips from being the only focal point.
A smoky eye is an application technique that can be subtle and sultry or daring and dramatic. Don’t feel tied to only blacks and grays. Lots of colors can be used in this look, like chocolate, olive or plum. Play with it, and find your favorite version. Tip: When going for a smoky eye, do your eyes first and apply foundation later. This makes for easy clean-up of shadow that falls onto cheeks.

2)Dampen a small soft brush and roll in a medium to dark shadow. TryNARS Single Eyeshadow Compact, in Lola Lola. Tip: Avoid a hard line in the eye lid crease, and blend, blend, blend!

4)Finish your eye with black mascara and clean up any fallen shadow with a Q-tip.
5)Apply under eye concealor and tinted moisturizer to your face to even out skin tone, and use a natural colored cream blush and lip liner. You can boost your lip shine with an iridescent gloss likeVincent Longo Virgin Lux Lipgloss, in Touchdown.
