Angela and Chris used their wedding day to showcase so much of what they love about their hometown of Chicago. The Trump International Hotel & Tower is sleek, modern, and oh-so-city, so it was the perfect choice for their chic wedding that had a classic palette with pops of bright color. You can totally see they are head over heels for each other and their city!
The Couple: Angela and Chris
The Wedding: 7.14.12 - Trump International Hotel & Tower Chicago - Chicago, Illinois

What three adjectives best describe your wedding? Fun, whimsical and organic
What was your wedding color palette? Black, white, yellow and red

What inspired your personal wedding style, and how did you incorporate your style and personalities into your big day? We had the theme of locally grown because we’re both from Chicago. We had our good friend Sandra Yoon, who graduated valedictorian from Parsons New School for Design, create our theme, invitation video and design. We really tried to showcase Chicago and the wonderful talent born here.

Looking back, what are the moments, decisions or memories that you love the most about your wedding? I love that we kept it small and intimate. By doing this, we could do special things for our guests that really made our wedding memorable for them. It showed our guests that we really appreciate the support they’ve given us throughout our lives.

What piece of advice would you give to a bride planning her wedding today? Just have fun!
