Chris + Lynn sent us this oh-so-metropolitan London engagement shoot, and it's just another fantastic excuse to peruse the London city streets and scenery this week! Jag and Param were busy world travelers that had just settled down into their first home together - in London of course - at the time of their engagement shoot. I love how the city almost becomes a third character in their story that unfolds through Chris + Lynn's stunning images!

From photographer Lynn: As destination wedding photographers, Chris and I rarely get to meet our clients in person before the wedding, but we do get to know them - via email and skype conversations and sometimes through their own blogs!
When Jag first contacted us abut photographing her wedding, she sent us her personal blog and it was so great to get to "meet" her and Param by reading the life and travel stories they shared online! While we read about their adventures in Brazil, Portugal, Italy, and England (where they studied and worked), we got more and more excited about meeting them - this was a couple who were all about experiencing travel, food, and culture. And Jag obviously also loved weddings too! While I was frustrated trying to stream the royal wedding on a painfully slow internet connection in Mexico, Jag and Param were there, in front of Westminster Abbey watching as Will and Kate entered to say their vows together. Jag's description of seeing the royal couple kiss on the balcony below Buckingham Palace gave me goosebumps, and I knew we would be fast friends!

Destination engagement sessions are popular with many of our clients, and we were excited when Jag and Parm decided they wanted their YOU+ME session to reflect their first home together: London England. I'm a British citizen, but I haven't been to London since I was a kid; Chris and I were looking forward to a day of scouting and seeing the sites! There are so many iconic landmarks in London, it was hard to choose just a few places to shoot, but together the four of us visited places they loved like Notting Hill, St Paul's Cathedral, and spots along the Thames River. Along the way, we got to know Jag and Parm, their culture, and their weddings plans. AND created some images that would always be meaningful to them!

Thanks Chris + Lynn for sharing your gorgeous work, and a huge congrats to Jag and Param!
