What three adjectives best describe your wedding? Classic, soft, romantic.

What inspired your personal wedding style, and how did you incorporate your style and personalities into your big day? My personal style is a mixture of my cultural background (Nigerian) as well as my world travels. I have lived in NYC and London for some time and am influenced by both very differing street styles. When it came to my wedding though, I knew I wanted something timeless and classic. I wanted to look back at photos like you do classic old movies and remember the timeless beauty and flow of the day.

Looking back, what are the moments, decisions or memories that you love the most about your wedding? Having a destination wedding, although tougher to plan, was definitely worth it. Being able to spend several days with good friends and family made the whole experience so much more memorable. To me a wedding day is about strengthening not just the bond between you and your love but also between your friends and family as you all come together to celebrate real love. My favorite memory of the day was right after the ceremony we just went off on our own with the photographer and explored the ancient streets of Mdina. The light was soft and the walls were golden and it was just so romantic to spend time together soaking in the moment.

Wedding color palette: Ivory, lavender and rose.

  1. beautiful!

  2. Gorgeous! What a beautiful day and lovely family!

  3. The shot from above is amazing! Love how you can see the pop of colors and all of the guests at once. Her t-strap sandals are so fresh and light and work really well with her dress.

  4. I love the idea of a destination wedding in a lovely hot country, but I always consider it being hosted at an outdoorsy type venue…that church though!!!! Absolutely stunning setting for a wedding. So, so beautiful. I don’t care if it’s a cliffside and a sparkling sea, it just doesn’t compete with that venue!

  5. These are stunningly beautiful, and so lovingly captured! Cheers to the photography team.
