Red, pink, plum, nude, sheer, matte, gloss, lacquer- when you start thinking about lipstick for your wedding day suddenly there are sooo many options! Love lipstains any that are moisturizing and cheaper? I am in Mass.

Hi Denise- In my personal experience lip stains aren't particularly moisturizing since they need to be super lightweight in order to soak into your lips and, you know, stain them with color. =) But as for less expensive... I have tried this CoverGirl Outlast Lipstain Lip Color (available at many drugstores, or at Drugstore.com) and it worked quite well!

I'm not much for lipstick, but I am in love with lipstain lipstick. Also, the third image down with the smoky eyelids is beautiful and fun. Thanks for the post Christy:)

i've tried the CoverGirl too and really liked it. it's like using a marker to stain your lips which is the style that works best for me. when i use the other applicators, i end up with areas that are kind of globby and not uniform.

Nivea makes lip care called "a kiss of flavor" - the cherry tinted one totally works as a stain and it's about 2 or 3 bucks!
