This weekend I attended the wedding of my dear friends Michelle and Chip, and couldn't stop oohing and ahhing over Michelle's beautiful dress. It had a fitted bodice with a simple halter neck and drop waist, but the skirt was what stole the show! It was delicately embroidered with a white on white floral, leaf and vine pattern that perfectly personified the sweetness of spring. She looked fresh and glowing and absolutely gorgeous, and reminded me of how much I love the wonderful detailing on wedding gowns!

In honor of springtime brides everywhere, here are some of the fantastically detailed wedding dresses from the recent Spring '09 bridal runways that will make you fall in love with the season.
